This product is for anyone looking to introduce a water based lube into their sexual play for all of their toys, foreplay, and sexual intercourse and activities. Unfortunately, it doesn't make the mark and this water based lube is more sticky than useful for me and my partners.

This product works for those with the time and patience to keep adding a lot of water to it in order to keep the consistency less like slick Jell-O and more like regular lube.

The best situation for this product is when you have lots of time to devote to what you're doing and you're using silicone toys, or latex, or are in the shower. The reasons for that are, silicone based lubrication, great as it is, doesn't work well with silicone toys because it breaks down the toys. Latex can't have oil based lubrication with it, and oil based lube can also cause yeast infections in vaginas. And in the shower this lube really shines because it actually works as intended and isn't so sticky and gloopy that you can barely enjoy what you're doing because you're distracted by the texture.

On the item page there is a list of ingredients, but let me break it down to you:
Deionized water, glycerin, PEG-8, Aloe Vera Extract, Carbomer 941, Carboxymethylcellulose Tetra Sodium EDTA, Methylparaben, DMDM Hydantoin

Glycerin can cause problems in some adults and you're going to want to not use this lubrication on places where your mouth will also be, because those who don't normally react to glycerin can still have reactions. When taken by mouth glycerol can cause side effects including headaches, dizziness, bloating, nausea, vomiting, thirst, and diarrhea. Sounds like fun, right?

Not quite.

I feel the texture is just too much like sticky unset Jell-O for my liking. It feels too sticky and too gross for me to pay as much attention to my body and its needs. It cleans easily, thank god, or my bed would be a sticky, greasy mess, just like my body, after I use it.

It is somewhat easy to pour, but you have to watch because the cap doesn't always stay on with mine, and sometimes it leaks out and makes everything else a sticky, greasy mess.

Colt Lube doesn't stay in place well enough for me to stay satisfied. Just when I have it on the toy I want or right where I want it on my body, it heats up a bit and slides somewhere else. That's so weird, considering how thick it is and how it doesn't like to pour too easily. But once it is out, it's a slip and slide of the greasiest nature.

I hated the smell and found the taste rather disgusting and like chemicals on those times when I practiced oral sex on my toys while using this lube. Again, like I said above, don't put things containing glycerin into your mouth. You probably won't react as you COULD, but do you want to chance it when there are so many good blowjob and oral sex lubes on the market? (When taken by mouth, glycerol can cause side effects including headaches, dizziness, bloating, nausea, vomiting, thirst, and diarrhea.)

The aroma isn't too strong, but when you pay attention to it the smell is a bit overwhelming. I just kept away from it and tried to concentrate on the pleasure of my toys that is was moderately helping me enjoy.

The product lasted a year, and then a partner of mine tossed it out because neither one of us enjoyed using it.

I did have to wash it off. Thank goodness that was not a difficult process. Dilute it with water and wipe away. Easy peasy lemon breezy.

I liked that this product never gave me a yeast infection even though I am quite prone to them. Being water based and at least somewhat easier than other lubes to pour, was also a pretty nice thing about it. Low mess when you were done was also a nice thing about this being a water based lube.

I pretty much didn't like the other features. It's too weird in consistency and the cap design is flawed so that it leaks. I would say I just had a dud and not count that against the product, but I bought two bottles when I first bought this, and both caps leaked. The cap is just too easy to accidentally open without any force, and then the lube just slowly oozes out. It also dries too fast unless you're actively reapplying or adding water to it, which is a problem for those who just want to fap and not have to fuss with their lubes to such a ridiculous degree.

The product was packaged plainly in the box my other products came in. One bottle was already leaking because of aforementioned lid problem. There were no instructions and the packaging is not discreet, as it's pretty easy to guess what personal lubrication means, so if anyone sees this they will know that you are indeed a sexual adult being.

The only special properties I could speak on are that it's water based like many lubes, but that means you can use it for just about any sexual endeavor and you'll be fine. And a partner of mine did try to give me a massage once with this and they kept a bowl of water nearby and rubbed it between their palms and it actually worked fairly well. The product heated in their hands and with a bowl of water (directly beside us and constantly used) I found the massage to be a pleasant experience. This isn't something that other lubes couldn't do, or even do better, but it was something nice about this product to keep in mind. Massages!

Note: It doesn't warm on its own though. You have to do that yourself, either by dipping the bottle into hot water while the bottle is fully sealed, or by warming it in the palms of your hands. Still, that its consistency allows it to warm at all, unlike some other lubes I have tried, is a good thing. It gets a warming tag.

This is not the worst lube I have used.

But it is by and far not the best.

For being my first lube, I just wish it hadn't left so much to be desired. I thought there was a problem with me, but the truth is - it's not me, it's you, Colt Lubrication. You can pack your things, the taxi's here.

I didn't like it. My partners didn't like it.

We tossed it out because it was just frustrating and too greasy. Overall, it tries hard but does not meet my expectations for a good lube. I will be looking elsewhere. I know there has to be some.
