This lubricant will provide extra sensation, A LOT of it! With its silicone base, it lasts a long time. It also has a great aroma of mint! Use this for sex, toys, or massage to experience a very intense sensation.

Pros
Lasts long, silicone, good smell, does provide extra sensation, great bottle.
Cons
Sensation may be too intense, can get sticky with toy use.
This pleasure enhancing product from Durex can be used as a lubricant for sex, toys, or for massage. Because of its silicone base it is good for use in the shower and tub, but not with silicone toys. Those with sensitive skin may want to rethink trying this as the tingling could cause irritation. But for those of you without, this could add a unique sensation to your sexual arousal, if you can get past the burn...
This lubricant is silicone so it feels much smoother and slightly thicker than most run of the mill water based lubes. It isn't runny, and isn't too thick. The bottle makes it easy to pour with its push down dispenser. The lubricant has a consistency that allows it to stay put where it is applied. At first application it isn't sticky or greasy but rather smooth and silky.
Durex Tingling lubricant is scented and flavored with mint. The aroma is really nice, especially during a massage when the aroma is intensified. It is rather soothing, almost like aromatherapy. During sex, I didn't notice the smell as much, but I did notice that it covered the latex smell afterwards. This lube is advertised as tasting like mint as well; because of the tingling aspect, I was hesitant to put this near my mouth.
This lube was among the best I have tried from Durex in terms of strength. It lasted a really long time. It seemed to get a bit sticky when used with toys, but when used during sex it stayed smooth and slick. I have a theory that it works best with added body warmth since the tingling is triggered by this.
Now for the tingling...oh boy I felt it! I felt it A LOT. At first I really liked it, then it got stronger and stronger. It was almost like that slightly painful feeling my clit gets after a REALLY intense orgasm with continued play. The continued play causes an uncomfortable intense sensation that I am sometimes able to work through to get to an additional second or third orgasm. Needless to say, it was hard to work through the tingling. I couldn't orgasm because the sensation provided a bad distraction.
As a massage oil however, this is really nice. It creates a cooling sensation that adds to pleasure not detracts from it. Clean up was fairly easy. Soap is needed. Water alone doesn't do the job because of it being silicone.
The bottle for this lube is ingenious. It has a locking turn top that when unlocked serves as a spill-free pump! It dispenses the perfect amount of lube for a session. Because of this design, I wouldn't be afraid to travel with it. The label on the bottle is a pretty sea foam green. There is nothing explicit on the package, it actually kind of looks like a soap or hair mousse dispenser. The bottle holds 3.38 oz of lubricant, which will last a long time. When first bought, the bottle will have around 2 years before it expires. I won't be using all of mine before then.
Because of this lube lasting a long time, having a great bottle, having a good scent, but causing too intense of sensations for me, I am giving it 3 stars.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it2 months after original review
I haven't changed my opinion about this, but I must say that I tossed the rest of the bottle when cleaning out my stash to add the new. It was right at the expiration anyways. I got this more than two years ago and I barely used the bottle because it didn't wow me. Even though this is discontinued on eden, it is still sold in some stores. I would buy a trial size if you can find it (I know they have the warming in a trial size) or request a sample from Durex instead of buying the whole bottle. You may be able to find one of those Durex play kits with a sample in it as well.

I'm not a huge fan of tingling lubes myself. Does washing off the lube stop the tingling sensation, or does it keep tingling even after cleanup? Great review!

Hmmm...good question Miss Cinnamon. As I recall, it stopped the tingling.

Great review Lauren!
Its not easy writing lube reviews, well atleast for me, and I only did one. Just saying you know how to write em'
This being Silicone, it is a shame that it can not be used with some sex toy materials, but that I guess is not really a con.

Aww thanks!

I love your note but it called to mind an odd picture of a lube with murderous intentions...

Interesting that it gets sticky with toys--no fun! I've never tried a tingling lube before.

Some lubricant work better with natural juices, at least that is my theory!
