This is why I buy sample sizes
Sliquid Organics Natural is a mediocre lube. It gives a little extra slipperiness, and it's definitely a good bet for people prone to UTIs. But it's pretty drippy and doesn't last long. If you expect more than a bit of additional wetness from your lube, look elsewhere.

Pros
Very body-safe, not sticky, leaves skin feeling soft
Cons
Drippy, needs frequent reapplication, not good for anal
Oh don't look at me like that, it's not bad. It's just...underwhelming. If you have a vagina, and you only need a wee bit of extra lubrication for inserting things into that vagina, and you don't mind reapplying fairly frequently, this is the lube for you. This could also be the lube for you if you need a little slickness when playing with external toys. This isn't the lube for you if:
A) You're planning on using it for anal
B) You need more than a little extra lubrication
C) Reapplying every five minutes drives you into fits of annoyance/homicidal fury
Let's start with the good. It's vegan, which is really great. It's paraben, glycerin, petro-chemical, and L-Arginine free. That, coupled with the mostly organic ingredients list makes this a very body-friendly product. If you're one of the many people prone to UTIs this is wonderful news. Since it's water-based, it's safe to use with almost all toys, including silicone. It's also compatible with latex condoms. So far, so peachy! I should point out that not all of the ingredients are certified organic. To be fair, I still think it's a very body-safe product. It's also worth noting that the ingredients listed on the package I got differ a little bit from the ones listed on Eden. This seems to be true for at least one other reviewer. My package lists these as the components:
Purified water, Plant cellulose(from cotton), Aloe barbadensis, Natural tocopherols (Vitamin E), Cyamopsis (Guar conditioners), Hibiscus, Extracts of Flax, Green tea, and Sunflower, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol (rose ether)
You'd expect all that flowery business to smell, but there's almost no smell or taste. Maybe a very faint plastic taste, but no more. I didn't try, but I would think oral sex with this lube would be perfectly doable. Which is useful, because many flavored lubes are prone to causing UTIs (at least in my experience).
You can buy three sizes from Eden, one of which is the sample size I purchased. It holds .17 ounces, which is a teeny bit over one US teaspoon. It comes in a small cardboard pouch with a narrow tip. You open it by tearing off the tip. You can't close the package after this, but it's probably only enough lube for one or two uses. This would actually be a great size for traveling, or to keep in a toy bag for play parties.
Sliquid Organic Natural is a middle-of-the-range lube in terms of thickness. I'd liken it to melted jello. It can get pretty drippy, especially when warm, but it's certainly not watery. It has a very smooth feel to it on your skin -- not precisely slick, more like soft. It leaves the skin feeling soft, nourished, and not sticky.
Which is a good thing because my body, at least, sucked this lube right up. My partner and I had originally planned to use this lube for anal, but this is not a very slick or viscous lube. That, coupled with the drippy nature of the lube meant anal was out of the question. No problem, I thought, I've got a vagina. I like to put things in my vagina. That's a solid platform to test out a lube, right?
I started off using a clitoral vibrator (made out of non-porous plastic) with the lube, and that worked pretty well. It provided a bit of extra wetness where I needed it, and it felt nice. I really only needed it to last a few minutes, since the vibrator was just being used for foreplay. So the re-application issue didn't bug me.
Then my partner breaks out the strap on, applies lube to it, and starts pile-driving me into the mattress. I'm producing enough of my own lubrication by this point to be comfortable without help. But I love wet slippery sex, and the added wetness of the Sliquid feels nice, and makes vigorous thrusting fun rather than uncomfortable. It's not anywhere near the level of lubricious awesome reached by many silicone or gel lubes, sure. But it's doing it's job. And I'm not getting a UTI, which makes me a very happy camper.
After about five minutes we have to reapply. Thinking we had been stingy with our small sample, we used the rest of it up in one fell swoop. A few minutes later the lube had once again absorbed into my skin. At this point we gave up and decided to watch reruns of Murder She Wrote.
To sum up: This is probably a good lube for use with external vibes (and similar toys), or if you just need a little extra lubrication at the beginning of vaginal intercourse. If you need your lube to do anything more than that, I'd advise against Sliquid Organics Natural.

Follow-up commentary
9 months after original review
Yeah, we finished up that sample pretty quickly, and were, as you see unimpressed. I recently got to play with some more at a play party. I was still unimpressed. It's just not thick enough for anal, and doesn't have enough staying power for most people. While I still hold that this is a good lube for some people, I am not one of those people. It's a pity, really, because it definitely had potential.
Okay, time for more Murder She Wrote.

I've pretty much found that this is the probably the worst Sliquid lube. Most of the rest are awesome. Thanks for the review.

Thanks Lindsey123 and Diabolical Kitty! And, yeah, it's a real pity it wasn't better. I had such hopes!

Thank you for the review. I am always on the look out for a good lube; this may be a good back up, but from this review, I am sure it wouldn't be my go-to
-
You're very welcome PurpleDragonLady! And, yeah, this might be a good addition to a collection of lubes, but I don't really recommend it as a go-to lube. More's the pity!
