This lube ticks many boxes when I am looking for an anal lubricant. Thick? Yes, very thick. Water-based? It is. Applicating ease? It is easy to dispense, and it stays in place on you and/or the toy. It is also very inexpensive for a six-ounce bottle. I went with the unflavored variety and was happy with the way this lube performed. I like my anal lubes thick, and this lube is on the thicker side. It stayed in place on my toy until it was ready to insert it, and that is a big plus. It never got sticky, and I never had to reapply at any time.

Negatives? Well, it does contain methylparaben. It is a preservative, and some people claim it can mess with reproductive hormone function. Kind of a weird thing to put into a lube? It also contains propylene glycol, which has gotten a bad rap lately, and some people are allergic to it. If these ingredients bother you, go with a more natural lube.

I have used this lube several times and it hasn’t let me down. I have had zero adverse reactions so far. If you are looking for an inexpensive anal lube this option is still a good choice.
