JO H2O lubricant has many uses, depending on your interests. It can be used for intercourse, both anal and vaginal, but is also safe for use with different varieties of toys, as it is a water-based lube. I have used it with an anal plug, a dildo, and my partner has used it for masturbation. There's really no wrong way to use it (except perhaps for oral sex, as it is unflavored). The only thing to watch out for is its ingredient list; if you're looking for paraben- and glycerin-free lubricant, then you'll have to skip this one.

The best part about JO H2O lubricant is its texture. It is nice and thick, which means it requires little reapplication. It pours from the bottle a bit like maple syrup, and spreads evenly over skin and toys easily without dripping much. It never feels sticky; in fact, it left my hands feeling smoother than they were before use.

This lubricant has a slight aroma, detectable only when I put my nose within inches of the bottle. It smells a bit like rubbing alcohol. The taste isn't terrible, but I would not use it accompanying oral sex. After it absorbs into the skin it doesn't leave much of a taste behind, so using it before oral sex should be fine.

JO H2O lubricant performed very well--better, in fact, than any other lubricant my fiance and I have tried. It is thick enough to require only a few reapplications, and that is really only for vigorous play (as we saw with my fiance masturbating). I did not have to reapply while using it on myself for solo play. For intercourse, I imagine it may take an application or two, but it'll hold up as long as you do!

Clean-up is easy; a quick shower or a rinse with soap and water was enough to cleanse both of us and our toys. It doesn't leave any residue behind, and didn't leave messy spills like we've experienced with other lubricants. I should note, though, that the lubricant doesn't leave you feeling sticky even without rinsing (Though, I would definitely recommend cleaning your toys after use, of course!).

My favorite parts about JO H2O lubricant are its durability, its consistency, and its easy clean-up.

Other than the shipping box it arrived in, JO H2O lubricant did not come in any packaging. The bottle is small, clear, and can easily be hidden or stashed in a bag for travel (to be safe, I would pack it in a plastic bag or waterproof case in case of leakage).

The bottle does come with some instructions on how/where to apply, and how to use it with condoms. In essence, make sure to apply it to the genital area, and make sure to use it on the surface of the condom.

In terms of discretion, the bottle may be mistaken for shampoo or body wash upon first glance, so it may not be immediately obvious in its intended purpose. However, the 2.5 ounce bottle is petite enough to be kept out of sight easily.

We used JO H2O lubricant for a variety of purposes and it held up to every challenge we put it through. It seems like a good all-around lubricant to keep on hand for a variety of needs, whether you're using toys, trying anal, wearing a condom, or having intercourse. It served us well for all of our purposes!
