Wicked Aqua Candy Apple is a flavored lube intended to spice up oral play. This lube can be drizzled anywhere on the body, such as the nipples, thighs, penis, testicles, outer portions of the vagina, and the ass. Being water based, it is also compatible with all toy materials. However, it will not be much good in the shower, as water based lubes will rinse off immediately. There are no parabens in this product. Since it is flavored, it does contain sweeteners, which may be problematic if this product is used inside the vagina. The glycerin and stevia in this product are sugar derivatives and can cause yeast infections in women that are prone to them. Wicked Aqua comes with a pump style top. By turning the pump slightly to the left and right you can lock and unlock it. With the pump unlocked, it takes very little effort to dispense the product. It may be done one-handed in fact. The lube will come out very thin and fast, so it's best to have your hand cupped to receive it or, better yet, just drizzle it right onto your partners body. It does have a very high tendency to run off of where it's originally placed. So apply it sparingly and expect there may be a bit of a mess. The good news is that the lubricant comes out clear and is non-staining. During use, it does not feel sticky at all. Afterwards, there is a very slight sticky residue, due to the sugar derivatives in the formula. This will rinse right off. This bottle can be stored on it's side without leaking.

The flavor of this product is labeled as "Candy Apple". There is also a "Pomegranate" version available. The Candy Apple does taste like candy apple...but only when applied in a thin layer. Allow me to explain. If you apply a generous amount of this product, the first thing hits your tongue will be a chemical-type taste. A moment later, you receive the desired flavor as more of an aftertaste. When you do taste the flavor, it's dead-on: a granny smith apple mixed with a sweet candy. However, the initial taste you receive is somewhat unpleasant. Every time you get more of the product in your mouth, you continue to taste the chemical before the candy apple. Then I tried reapplying the product in a thinner layer. This time I was able to taste the apple more immediately. It was much more pleasant than before, but still not completely chemical free. The smell of this lube is the same as the taste, a symphony of apple candy mixed with chemicals. It's fairly comparable to the scent of a hand disinfectant, although less potent.

This product looks sexier than it is. It runs off of your partner’s body very quickly and any more than the slightest amount on your tongue results in a chemical taste. It does rinse off very easily and really, I can't say that it left me feeling all that sticky in the first place. As far as how long the product lasts, I really cannot comment much regarding using this product for intercourse. I do not use any lubricants with sugar or sugar derivatives for sex due to health concerns.

The packaging for this lubricant is very stylish, and it is actually the reason I was interested in experimenting with this line of products. The bottle is constructed of opaque black plastic with metallic lettering on the front. This item comes in a 4 oz. size only. The back of the bottle has standard information, including product description, selling points, brief directions, cautions, and ingredients. Underneath, there is a barcode for smartphones and the product's website. The bottle is recyclable.

This lubricant was a big turn off for me, as you may already have realized. The chemical taste is very unappealing and it is not a problem I've had with previous flavored lubricants. For me, it was a disappointment. My personal favorite flavored lube at the moment is undoubtedly Wet Naturals Sensual Strawberry. It has a sweet, light flavor without having the chemical taste that Wicked does. From now on, I will be sticking with that one.
