Wet Gellee was a lubricant that I personally didn't think I would enjoy using. I've tried several of the others from the Wet line, and almost all of them turned out to be total failures in my eyes. Except for the Synergy. Anyhow, I had tried the strawberry kiwi water-based lubricant (the original, in the small bottle) and it was so bad that I stayed away from Wet completely.

However, several friends of mine enjoyed this lubricant so I thought I would give it a try. I'm happy to say that I've found one more winner in the Wet line, and maybe the last winner! This stuff tastes good, as it should, and works quite well. Great for oral sex, or if you just like a pleasant scent during your sexual adventures.

Some have said that this product is too sticky for anal, but I found it to be a PERFECT lubricant for anal sex. As long as you reapply it after twenty minutes or so, as you should with almost any anal lubricant, you'll be fine. You do want to clean yourself off afterwards, because that's when things get sticky. But you should always do that after anal, regardless of what lubricant you used.

Of course, you want to check your ingredients list ahead of use to make sure YOU are not allergic to anything in this product:

Glycerin, PEG-32, , Tocopheryl/Acetate, Citric Acid, Carbomer, Flavor, PEG-40 Castor Oil, Aloe Barbadensis, Leaf Juice, Polysorbate20, Sodium Benzoate, Tetrahydroxypropl Ethylenediamine, Tetrasodium EDTA, Sucralose, PEG-45M, Sodium Citrate, Potassium Sorbate, Propylene Glycol, Methlparaben, Imidizolidinyl Carbamide.

It does contain Glycerin and Methlparaben which may be an issue for many people. I usually have problems with Glycerine ingredients, but this particular lubricant did not bother me. I think that as long as you wash up accordingly, you'll be fine. I did notice a bit of itchiness when this product came in contact with my arms. I had chronic eczema on my arms as a child, so I am careful with what I put on my skin now as an adult. Strawberries were something I couldn't eat. Even artificial strawberry flavors. I wonder if this is what irritated me, but I'm not sure.

What can I say? This stuff might as well be something you'd spread on a PB&J. It is VERY, VERY thick. Reminds me of Aloe Vera gel... except thicker! This is one reason that I really appreciated this as an anal lubricant. You want something very thick during anal.

As a vaginal lubricant, it worked very well. I have issues with vaginal dryness due to my medication, and my doctor actually recommended the unflavored version of this. I HATE unflavored products, so I chose this one instead. He definitely knew what he was talking about when he recommended this to me. I don't even have to reapply it vaginally, unlike anally, and it feels natural after a few thrusts. It is quite unique. It adds a bit of texture to the thrusting that is hard to describe. Almost giving your partner some drag, but not painful drag. You just "feel him more" if that makes any sense.

The sticky issue... Well, I didn't really experience it unless you let it sit on your skin without showering after sex. It is very thick though. That's totally for sure.

The taste is not GREAT. I've tasted better lubricants in my lifetime. But, this is one of the best you're going to find on the market that doesn't have tons of awful ingredients in it, and a crapload of sugar. You have to understand that with lubricant, flavor only goes so far before you're slathering grape jelly on your partner's penis.

So, yes, I liked the taste. The smell was even better. Smells exactly like it is supposed to - strawberry kiwi. The strawberry scent was more apparent, but the kiwi smell is in there. I liked the way that it took the unpleasant smells from anal sex away, allowing you to better enjoy your session without the "Ew, maybe we should shower first" thoughts running through your head.

This lubricant performed best anally for my partner and I. I think that this will be the lubricant we use for anal from now on. I will probably buy the unscented for vaginal, just because my vagina is so sensitive to many ingredients. But in the meantime, I will definitely be using this product for both. It's so much fun.

It easily lasts half an hour for anal, or longer depending wet your body is naturally. I recommend reapplying it for anal, just because that is what you would do with really any anal lubricant. (In order to be safe. The walls of the anus are very sensitive.) I did notice the lubricant SLIGHTLY drying up a little more quickly anally, but nothing that was too much of an issue for me to have to mention it. Like I said, it depends on your body.

Vaginally, it worked awesome as well. Like I said, my issues with vaginal dryness were completely solved with this stuff. Sex felt totally natural. The texture, the drag, the slip, the slide... All of it felt natural and I enjoyed it. The only difference is that vaginally, I didn't need to reapply. It stayed very wet the entire time.

This lubricant comes in a squeeze bottle, similar to your modern day toothpaste or lotion bottles. With a snap open cap and a plastic body, the bottle is perfect for travel. The cap stays shut well, but you want to make sure to wipe it if you accidentally smear some lube outside of the hole in the cap. It will dry up and the cap will stick shut. I just get a wet towel and wipe the cap if I make a mess.

Making a mess, however, isn't too easy. I'm just a messy person sometimes.

The package isn't exactly discreet. If anyone has walked down the condom isle at your grocery store, they've seen this stuff. However, my niece dropped by the hotel today and thought this was strawberry toothpaste. So as far as younger kids... there's no concern. It's more of if you have family over a lot, or older children.
