Superior performance. Great value despite price.

Perhaps the most important trait of ID Millennium is that it will never get in the way. Easy to use, lasts forever, extremely easy cleanup. It is the best lubricant I have used so far for intercourse, masturbation, and toys.

Use

Two bottles again, we switched from Wet Platinum to ID Millennium. As we wrap up our second 2.5oz bottle, I find there is no reason to switch. From a toy perspective, it has worked great for anal toys, vibrators, dildos, and masturbators. I would especially recommend it for the latter, as it has definitely extended the life of my favorite jelly masturbator. It has also worked great for anal toys with condoms, vibrators, and dildos.

You only need a couple of drops for most uses. For vaginal intercourse, be sure only to use a few drops or you might quickly find everything a bit "too" slippery.

It is well worth the price and I will be buying a third bottle soon.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

ID Millennium basically feels like a thin jacket on your skin with a sensation similar to light oils. There is really no resistance to it, so using too much will quickly leave you with no friction at all. Also, do not expect it to generate any extra grip with toys or masturbation.

The best part is that the lube maintains its consistency right up until it wears out.

Taste / Aroma

ID Millennium is essentially odorless and tasteless. It almost reminds me of very light cooking oils. However, do not forget, silicone is not digestible. Although ingesting a drop or two during oral sex is not going to do more to you than swallowing a piece of gum, this is certainly not something to drink by the ounce. You should almost always be using only small amounts, anyway.

Performance

ID Millennium does sometimes wear out very quickly and you have to reapply another drop or two, especially with masturbation. While it would mostly absorb into your skin, you will find you have a velvety-smooth feeling until you clean up. Be careful what you touch until you do clean up, or you could have a slipping accident on your hands!

This lubricant cleans up amazingly well when you are done (no special soaps here). Compared to other silicone lubes, ID seems to be a lot less sticky and cleans off very easily. As mentioned above, if you like your lube to have some resistance, though, this is not the product for you.

Packaging

Since a single bottle can last you a long time, it becomes noticeable that the bottle design will result in leaks and drips down the side over time. This makes the bottle very slick! Not very good when it shoots off out of your hands while your partner is waiting on you! This also means you have to be careful where you store it. We ended up with a dark mark in the nightstand drawer where this was kept.

Once you get a handle on the bottle, just flip it open with one hand, turn it upside down, and let it drip. Don't squeeze or you will have a sizable mess on your hands.

As for discreteness--it's lube, and it is labeled and packaged very obviously. The 2.5oz bottle is a good travel size, but you will need to put it in a plastic bag because of leaking.
    • Can be opened with one hand
    • Leaky container
    • Not discreet
