Astroglide was an okay product, and we used in in various sexual situations. When it comes to anal, it is not a great lube. You have to reapply it often in every situation. It worked well with vaginal intercourse and fingering, though. It is, overall, a basic beginners lube.

Astroglide has a very slick, syrup like consistency. It kind of pours out of the container like jelly. You really have to squeeze the container to get it to come out. It has a very stringy consistency, like melted cheese. It works well for intercourse. It works okay for masturbation, too. It absorbs into the skin somewhat, as well. It gives you a great "wet" feeling.

Astroglide has no taste. I did not notice a smell, but my partner did. He said that it had somewhat of a plastic-y scent.

Astroglide lasted about 10 to 20 minutes before we had to reapply it. You have to reapply it often because it feels like it just disappears. It is not creamy, so it tends to drip and move into unwanted places. It is very messy. Once we were done, we just wiped it off; it did not leave any residue.
