After trying the Kama Sutra honey dust in strawberries and champagne, I was in love. Over the winter and spring, my husband's and my skin got so dry that we started using lotion almost every night if we didn't do back massages with oil. This led to a lot of Curel moisturizer being used, but sometimes you want something a little sexier. So I took a chance and ordered the "petite" size jar of the strawberry body souffle from Kama Sutra. It really is the perfect size to try it out without investing too much money. I only wish they offered all the flavors in the petite size!

As noted on the small plastic box it comes in, body souffle is for EXTERNAL use only. It is NOT a lube, and as such I wouldn't recommend using it for oral sex. If you do, however, you should probably wash up a little before sex because the formula contains glycerin and saccharrin. Those ingredients might cause issues for some folks, but I had no problems.

As a body lotion, it's very smooth and rubs in nicely. It will make your skin feel lovely! I did notice some stickiness when mixed with saliva or kissed/licked off. Given that it's sold as an edible body butter, I think this is to be expected. If it's too sticky for you, though, it rinses off easily enough.

Mmmmm....strawberries! My favorite fruit of all time! This body souffle smells like fresh strawberries and cream, but it doesn't taste as "fresh" as the honey dust does. The smell is light, though, and I doubt it would bother anyone's sense unless they really don't like the smell of fruit or fruity dessert.

I would NOT recommend tasting this straight out of the jar before it absorbs into your skin. It feels goopy at that stage and it doesn't taste very good at all. On skin, though, it tastes much better. There's a little bit of aftertaste when you lick or kiss it off skin. I didn't think the taste was overly strong, but it wasn't light either. The souffle has a definitive taste that is easily identifiable as strawberries, so you won't mistake it for something else for sure.

I noticed that it leaves the texture and feel of a "coating" on your tongue as well, which I didn't care for. All the more reason to get a small jar before springing for the larger size product.

To apply it, you will need to scoop some out with your fingers. It feels goopy at first, but as you massage it into your or your partner's skin, it will start to smooth out and feel more velvety on the skin. Once it's absorbed and your skin feels soft and smooth, then you are ready to start tasting it.

As previously mentioned, the texture changes from goopy to smooth as you rub it into skin. It takes several minutes to really rub it in, so perhaps it's not the best for long, deep massages. Instead, it's great for foreplay and sensory play.

Once you are finished having your sexy fun, the souffle rinses off easily. Soap and water will clean up the best, but even just water will make your skin feel back to normal.

The jar is very discreet about what's in it, and it could easily be mistaken for night-time eye cream on your bedside table. The jar comes in a small plastic, foldable box that has flaps to close it.

I think the jar size makes this GREAT for traveling, and I took it with us on our recent vacation in our checked luggage. At 1.8 oz you could also pack it in your carry-on.
