Sticky Icky
A product that had a lot of potential, but ended up being a major let down. My advice, spend your lube dollar on a better product.

Pros
Water based, perfume free
Cons
Sticky, not long lasting
I think that Lubes can be a great addition to any sex life. They’re great for solo play and play with a partner. GetMaxx Aloe-Aqua Lube is a water based product so it is safe to use with latex, rubber and silicone. This lube is also perfume and flavor free. I have relatively sensitive skin, so I’m always seeking a good sensitive skin lube. This lube claimed that it will not irritate skin. GetMaxx Aloe-Aqua Lube comes with a great pump dispenser which is a very useful feature with any type of lubricant.
I experimented with this lube in a variety of ways, trying it solo, on my husband, and with my husband during sex while using a condom. During female solo use the lube dried out and became sticky almost instantly. I applied it to a plastic based toy and the surface of the toy also became sticky very quickly. Next I applied a decent amount to my husband and I also found that it became sticky almost immediately. I tried adding some spit to “reactivate” it but alas, no better. When used during sex this lube dries out quickly necessitating reapplication. All of this added lube just results in one big sticky icky mess.
This lube is VERY watery and does not retain much slickness once in use. It is worth it to note that the stickiness probably comes from the glycerin. Glycerin is very common in water based lubricants and it does cause yeast infections in many women. So while this lube is gentle for sensitive skin, if you are sensitive to yeast infections lubes containing glycerin are a definite no.
Overall, I would not recommend this lube. It becomes sticky rapidly, dries out quickly and doesn’t become re-lubricated very easily. If you are dead set on using water based lube, I would search for one with a little more staying power and a little less stickiness!

I actually have to admit that I threw this lube away. I tried several more times to make it work, but it just was far too sticky, and it dried out way too quickly.

Thank you for viewing Getmaxxx aloe-aqua lube – water-based lubricant review page!
I've found that almost all lubes with aloe in them just sort of suck. I think it dries out too quickly. Even when I use my aloe plant, a bit of aloe will soothe skin and help owies but it doesn't stay wet very long.
