It is as close to natural feeling as a lube gets, because it has similar pH to that of the human body. I found found that this lube works best for masturbation; although, it also works really well for vaginal, and anal sex. I would not recommend it for oral because of the taste.

Astroglide comes in a thicker gel form, I have found that the liquid bottle leaks on occasion and switched to the gel and have not had a single leak. The gel is the same consistency as hair gel when it comes out of the container, but once it reaches body temperature you can't tell the difference.

The Ingredients are: Purified water, glycerin, propylene glycol, polyquaternium 15, methylparaben, and propylparaben.

New to the Astroglide family are a warming liquid, and an allergy friendly version that is both glycerin and paraben free.

The liquid is rather thin and comes out like suntan oil. Small amounts work depending on what your doing. If you use too much you lose sensation and are a big sloppy mess. When it does dry, it gets sticky and eventually tacky, but it does clean up easily with soap and water, and nothing extra to do for your sheets.

Astroglide does not smell but does have a taste, kind of like a bad tasting stamp; not bad, but definitely not recommended and the taste sticks with you.

This lube lasts really long, but for those marathon sessions or a day off you might want to apply more, or not depending on your body's own preference. I prefer to use to it for masturbation. I love the fact that it is so versatile for anal, for vaginal, for hand-jobs, and for masturbation. The down side is that it does require soap and water to clean up with to leave you squeaky clean, but a diaper or feminine wipe will do in a jiff.

The simple instructions are on the packaging, but it is not very discreet. For travel I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you treat the bottle like you would shampoo and conditioner, put it in a plastic bag!

I enjoy using Astroglide, I haven't found anything better that lasts as long or leaves me feeling sticky mid-way through. It is great a lube and great for everything. It even works to cure a squeaky door!
