Astroglide worked very well for what it was used for, anal sex. It was the first time my partner and I had tried it, and it worked splendidly. We loved how smooth and silky the texture was, and how it had no odor. We did not do anything requiring tasting, although we probably could have just sampled it very quickly, to find out or to sate curiosity. It left a slightly sticky after feel, but it wasn't too bad. It was slightly uncomfortable while walking. Because it was a very watery solution it dribbled down my thighs, and when they rubbed together, I could feel them stick a bit.

The product is not greasy, and it is not messy, aside from the aforementioned stickiness after use. As mentioned previously the product had no odor or aroma, and therefore was very tolerable when opening. I am sure that if I would have been met with an overwhelming scent (such as strawberries), I would have been very hesitant probably assuming that there would be a great deal of stickiness involved.

In regards to the product while it was in use, we were very pleased with the results. It was silky but not too slippery, to where we could both still feel what was going on and enjoy the experience. It dries rather quickly, leaving behind the slight stickiness. Although, it is not really STICKY, so much as, if you were to glide your fingers across a patch of it; the progress of your fingers would be slowed down slightly.

Since it dried so quickly, I wonder how neither of us were harmed by the friction running between us; or from the dry skin colliding. I'm guessing that it was thanks to the slight stickiness that, when looking at it from that aspect, guaranteed us not to be irritated or caused any discomfort while using this product.

Okay, so my partner and I were experimenting with anal sex. Needless to say, I wasn't exactly going to try it without some form of lubrication. So we ran out and grabbed some Astroglide, AKA the first thing we saw, and gave it a try. Let me just say, I didn't experience any discomfort at all, which surprised me, considering just how new to anal I was. All I can say is WOW, did this really work well.
