for a ok water based lube at a ok price, this one hits all the marks. I will give it 4/5 stars because it gets sticky and the long list of ingredients. ID Glide is no way top of the water based lube pile, but I feel it beats out many of its competitors. If your looking to try out different lubes to find one that works for you, this might be worth a try. If you have found one that works for you, pass on this.

Pros
about the middle of the pack for quality of water based lubes
ID glide is best used when additional lubrication is needed in either solo situations or with your partner. It will work for either vaginal or anal action, as well as male masturbation. It is compatible with latex, rubber, plastic, glass, silicone, and metal. It is water based, so will not work well in the shower, tub, or hot tube.
Id glide has a silky smooth texture. The consistency is on the thicker side. It will not run right off your hand, toy, or penis after application. Because it is a water based lube, it will get sticky with use. ID glide last for a good amount of time, not as long as JO H2O. We find that we need to reapply a couple of times during our love making sessions.
ID Glide is unflavored and fragrance free. That just means that they did not add a flavor to the lube. It still has a chemical taste to it, like all lubes. I would not recommend this lube for any type of sex that will include oral after application. I did notice a slight aroma from the lube, it was just noticeable if you held your nose right next to something that was lubed.
This was one of our first lubes. Being our first, it worked very well for us. It did not make you want to go take a shower right after sex. It was easy to wash off. Did not stain the sheets. Most importantly, it did not cause any irritation to my wife or I.
We did notice that the lube would get sticky during use. And being new at using lubes at the time, it did not bother us too much. It was an excuse to stop, re-lube, and then change positions. We did not have to re-lube too often, just during some of the longer love making sessions. We would only need to re-lube once. From other reviews I have seen on water based lubes, this is not too bad. Somewhere in the middle of the pack. We have not bought this in a while, but I remember the price not being too bad.
We have the 17.6 ounce bottle. It came wrapped in plastic with a sticker seal on the lid. The bottle has a hand pump for easy dispensing. I remember that on some orders, this also came with a small 2-4 ounce travel bottle also shrink wrapped to the larger 17.6 ounce bottle.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it1 month after original review
this lube still gets into out rotation of sex toys and aids. I know it is not the best. JO H2O is steps ahead of ID. ID is not a bad lube, just not as good as JO. I do not know if I would buy this product again, after falling in love with JO. If the price was right, then it would not be a bad buy.
