Slip 'N' Slide
AstroGlide is an affordable water-based lubricant that is easy to use and apply. It is very simple to clean up as well, and it is great for most sexual situations. Beware of the taste and the fact that you will need to reapply during play more than likely. But overall, this is a great affordable option when it comes to lubricant.

Pros
Water-based so safe for play with any toy or body part, affordable, provides lubrication.
Cons
can feel slightly sticky on the skin, does not last long, really bad taste.
AstroGlide, who hasn't heard of this product by now? You can buy it in just about any big box store, drugstore, or sex shop. It's affordable, water-soluble, has no discernible smell and is easy to clean up. This is one of the lubes that my wife and I use more often than not. There are others one that we enjoy, but for the purpose of this lubricant it is tough to beat.
The bottle of AstroGlide is clear with a pop open top where you can easily squeeze out the desired amount of lubricant that is needed. The lubricant comes in a cardboard box with the company logo on it and is mostly forgettable. Definitely not good for storage and is usually tossed away as soon as the bottle is removed from the packaging.
As I said previously, AstroGlide is water-based so you can use it for anything. That nice new silicone toy you bought? It's to safe to use with it. It's also perfectly safe to use with condoms and on all body parts. No condom degradation or ruining of the toys with this lube.
With the squeeze top, you can easily get just what you need for a play session. A small dollop the size of dime is suitable for lubricating a toy and a dollop that is more like the size of a nickel is great for lubrication prior to intercourse. The few drawbacks we've found with AstroGlide is that for us we have found that we will usually need to reapply AstroGlide after some play time. With it being water-based, it is absorbed and dries much more quickly than a silicone lubricant, so reapplication is key to making sure that you have a good time. We have also found that after a few applications in the same session it can get a little sticky, especially at the base of a toy or the vaginal entrance. It's easy enough to clean up, a wet, warm cloth has always been able to wipe it away, but I think it should be noted. And one last quibble, the taste. It is putrid, really bad. I can't even describe the taste of it except that it tastes a bit like rubber to me. I do not suggest this for lubrication in oral sex it will ruin your fun.
Overall this is a perfectly suitable lubricant. There are better lubes on the market, but they also have the price tag to match. This is affordable and great for fun, just beware of the couple of things that can go wrong with it.

Follow-up commentary

What can you say about Astroglide? It's not the best lube on the market, but it does the job pretty well and is affordable. We are out of our favorite lube at the moment and are using this until we get another one in. It does the job pretty well, even if it does dry out pretty quickly.

I absolutely love it. I am usually allergic to most lubes, but after you get past the slimy and stickiness of it, and get to business, its wonderful.
