Slip and Slide for adults, and far more fun...
Astroglide Liquid provides excellent slippage for those moving parts, stays slick longer than other water-based brands, is one of the least expensive brands on the market, and ensures that vaginal dryness will not stand in the way of a great, hard-pounding time!

Pros
Longer lasting viscosity than other water-based brands, less expensive, and versatile.
Cons
Astroglide Liquid does contain glycerin, which can cause irritation and leave a sticky residue.
My girl and I have tried several of the off-the-shelf, name brand lubricants. Out of all the varieties we have tried, we have come to love the simplicity of Astroglide Liquid. Super slick and completely water-based and water-soluble, it does not require dressing up with fancy chemicals to make it warm up, cool down, or tantalize the parts. Astroglide Liquid lube is also completely condom compatible and safe to use with most types of toys, including silicone and glass.
The viscosity of Astroglide Liquid is greater than that of other water-based lubes we have tried, meaning that its slick effects last longer. Being water-based, it does eventually break down and evaporate or gets absorbed into the skin (completely safe). The one large drawback to Astroglide Liquid is that it contains glycerin, which tends to leave a sticky residue when it breaks down. Glycerin, basically simple sugars, can induce a mild irritation to sensitive skin and, in some cases, may even increase the chance of yeast infections in women. However, despite occasional irritation in the girl, we have never encountered any negative reactions from using Astroglide ourselves. I recommend Astroglide Glycerin & Paraben Free for those with sensitive skin or glycerin allergies.
For us, the ease of cleanup and durability of Astroglide make it far more appealing for use than oil or silicone-based lubricants. It works great for insertable toys, such as dildos, G-spot vibes, and -- of course -- hard, happy penises. We have found, however, that the standard formulation of Astroglide Liquid does not work well for anal penetrations. We are in the beginning stages of anal training with the girl, and she has mentioned that the glycerin causes a more severe irritation, an almost burning sensation, in her rectum when used on our plugs. For this, I recommend a more jellylike lubricant such as Astroglide Gel, which is thicker and still completely water-based.
We keep a bottle next to the bed with our insertion toys, and I keep one in the bathroom for those private moments. Being a healthy guy, I regularly get off at least once a day, and Astroglide Liquid provides me quick, durable lubrication and guaranteed instant cleanup in the shower.
As an added benefit to everything I have mentioned, Astroglide is one of the most inexpensive lubricants available. It is definitely worth the price and may just become your staple lube of choice...

Not much to say really, I still prefer it to any other lube I've come across, though I have found that silicone lube does last longer without loosing its slipperiness. But for the cost, I still recommend Astroglide...
