Slick, Safe, Superb!
This lube is made with quality, body-safe ingredients. The product lives up to everything the packaging claims: It's long-lasting, silky smooth, and washes off easily with soap and water. It is a very slick, reliable lube that I would recommend for beginners to any sort of anal play.

Pros
Flavorless, Odorless, Safe ingredients, Latex and rubber compatible
Cons
None
My boyfriend and I wanted to try anal sex, a first for us, and a little bit of research made us aware that silicone lubricants are the best choice for anal penetration due to their thick, slippery consistency and the length of time they take to dry up. I had always avoided silicone lubes because all I knew about them was that they can break down silicone toys, and since silicone is all I've got when boyfriend's out of town, we have typically relied on water-based lubes. There is more to silicone lubricants than that. Millenium lube is part of the high quality ID family that is:
* compatible with rubber and latex (so it is condom safe)
* very thick and slick, which makes it ideal for penetrating tight, sensitive areas like the anus
* stays wet and slippery for a long time, meaning you'll use a smaller amount
* safe for sensitive skin
* and washes off with soap and water
The lube itself does not have a taste and is just about odorless. There is a very faint chemical scent if you open the bottle and sniff, but the smell vanishes when the product comes in contact with skin. The texture feels smooth, slippery, and even silky. ID Millenium is simply a basic, no-nonsense, quality silicone lube, and I would consider it a staple for anyone looking to experiment with or return to anal play.
I want to mention an important warning on the bottle to avoid using ID or any other silicone lubes in the bath, shower, or near a similar tile surface, because it can be very slippery and hazardous if spilled. If you do spill it in such an area, be sure to wash it off carefully and right away with soap and water.

Experience
The points listed above are all mentioned on the bottle, and they're true. We tested this lube's consistency on our hands before we bought it, and it stayed slick throughout our browsing and after we left the store (we didn't think to ask about soap and a faucet), but it held up even better in action. It really is long-lasting and kept me quite comfortable throughout our anal experience, from the initial preparation and adjusting to new sensations, to switching from fingers to penis, to slowly picking up speed and finding myself overwhelmed, to my surprise, not by discomfort or the sheer foreignness of how it felt, but by real pleasure.
While it doesn't do anything exciting like warm or tingle, which are traits I tend to look for in a lube, ID Millenium fulfills its purpose very well. Honestly, I'm glad that we started with this instead of the warming anal lube we considered, because it minimized the potential for over-stimulation, which could have detracted from our first anal learning experience.

Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
I still love this lube. One of my favorite features is the slick, smooth consistency it has on skin. I also love that it is flavorless, meaning it really tastes like nothing at all. I love that feature because although this lube is great for anal, I mostly use it for handjobs and more often than not my greedy mouth winds up getting involved, and when that happens, it's nice not having to deal with the nasty chemical flavor that lesser quality lubes have.
One observation: it seems to dry up more quickly when used for manual stimulation as compared to how long it lasts during penetration. Even so, after using the same 2.5 oz. bottle for three months of intermittent sex (long-distance relationship), I've only gone through 1/4 of the bottle. And it seems like we use a LOT of this stuff, so a little really does go a long way.
I still recommend this lube and I expect that I will buy more when I run out.

What are the benefits of silcone lubes? | 8 |
Thank you for viewing ID millennium – silicone-based lubricant review page!
@kelaaa33wish, I have the 2.5 oz bottle, which is actually a pretty significant amount considering how far a little bit will go.
