Simply Interesting
The is a great lube for the price. It feels similar to some of the more expensive silicone lubricants, but it washes off like a water-based. The gel-to-liquid technology is great for getting it in place; once in place, it becomes a nice, silky lubricant.

Pros
Inexpensive, Hybrid, Gel-Liquid, No Smell, Bottle won't leak, Thick
Cons
Bad reactions for some, Hard to squeeze out of bottle
I found 4 boxes of this stuff on clearance at Walgreens for around $3 a 7oz bottle, so I decided to give it a try. I'm normally a water-based lube kind of gal, so with this being a silicone water hybrid, it felt a little thick to me. I'm glad it didn't cause a problem for me because most silicone based lubes have irritated me in the past. It is labeled on the box as "Water-Based" and "Gel to Liquid," but it's not clearly stated that it is a water/silicone hybrid. Other than it being kind of heavy and not clearly labeled, it is pretty nice. It goes on as a gel, so you can get it exactly where you want it and then it takes around five to ten seconds to "melt" and then it gets nice and slippery. It stays put, and I haven't ever had to reapply it.
My friend tried using it, and it made her girly parts peel and blister. Ouch. To top it off, she was in the middle of a cam show and had to stop half way through. My husband and I tried it for sex, and it made it to where he couldn't feel his penis for some reason. It works averagely for me, and it hurts the two people I play with. Overall, I like this lube, but since it doesn't work for my friend, and it doesn't work for my husband, I'm going to have to stick with my good old Liquid Silk and Maximus. I found Wet Synergy especially good for anal, so at least I can use it for that during masturbation. It's also nice to have around as a back-up in case I run out of the good stuff. I'm glad it works well for me for masturbation and anal because I have four huge bottles of this stuff laying around.
It comes in a cute bright pink box, and the bottle is a sturdy pop top. It will stay shut in luggage, and if it tips over, it won't leak all over your carpet or night stand; it's a little hard to get the lube out of this bottle, but it's not a terrible struggle. The bottle I got could have been a little more descriptive. It simply says Wet Synergy, concentrated, 3x longer lasting* (as compared to other water-based Wet lubricants). The back of the box and bottle then go on to describe it as "Gel to Liquid = LiquiSatisfaction;" It also calls itself water-based on the box and bottle. You have to look at the ingredient list and the internet to find out that it is a water/silicone hybrid.
Now, let's take a look at the ingredient list to see what could have caused the negative reactions in my female friend and in my husband. The first ingredient on the list is glycerin; unfortunately, my female friend is highly sensitive to this ingredient, so that's what caused her issue. My husband isn't sensitive to any of these ingredients, so I guess the hybrid-silicone aspect of this lube just coated him a bit too much.
Base: Water / Silicone
Ingredients: Glycerin, Deionized Water, Dimethiconol, Sodium, Polyacrylate, Demethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Trideceth-6, PEG/PPG, Pentylene Glycol
Overall, this is a fantastic lubricant for those who don't have an issue with any of the ingredients and love the feel of a heavier silicone lubricant. It is silky, smooth, doesn't have any smell to it and stays in place nicely. It's not too pricey for what you get either.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I gave away all of my bottles of this lube. It just doesn't work well for anyone in my household. It's just too thick, coats too heavily, and it seems to cause allergy problems in everyone I play with. I wish it was better for me.

Good review, Thanks!

It's strange that yours is labelled as water based. My bottle says water + silicone, and the bottle I bought last July was labelled that way as well.
-
That is so weird; mine even says water based on the side of the box as well. Maybe since it was on clearance they were really really old boxes. It wasn't a huge deal since I always read ingredient labels. I'm liking this lube better day by day; I just wish I could use it with my husband as well. I was thinking about checking out the cooling/tingle version.
-
I tried the cooling version and it burned me I'm fairly sensitive to things like that though, so you might have a better experience.

Ah, thank you, very good to know.
