Short Lived, but Good

Overall, it's not a bad lube; it just wears off faster than I would like and becomes sticky rather than absorbing completely. It doesn't smell, cleans up easily, and feels great when it hasn't dried up.

Use

Obviously, the best use for this item is as a lubricant for sex. While I feel it might be better used for sex, this lube does admirably as a J.O. lube and I can't say one way or the other as to it's use as an anal lube -- though I suspect, due to the end result, it might not be as good as others.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The lube comes out like any other; it's not too thick and not too watery, however, it's stickier than AstroGlide and wears out more quickly than most I've used. It's not a bad lube by any means, but it really depends on what you want from your lube. If you want a longer lasting, slick lube, this isn't the worst you could do, but it won't last as long as easily accessible brands found at pharmacies around the world.

Taste / Aroma

This did not have a strong smell and what smell it had, washed away quickly without soap. Overall, it was not bad here.

Performance

The Platinum lube provided great lubrication and felt great; it just didn't last as long as I thought it would. Ten to fifteen minutes in, it was already becoming sticky and required what little was left in the package in order to keep it going.

    Wow, for something that says, "guaranteed never sticky" right on the front of the package, I think it's pretty awful that you found it getting sticky after 10-15 minutes! And for a silicone lube, I have to say that really surprises me as they are known for a silky, dry feel and disappearing into the skin leaving a velvety feel. How the heck Wet managed to mess that up is anyone's guess! Good thing you only invested in a sample size and I guess this stuff is why we use Eden to read reviews like this - so we can make a better decision than relying on packaging claims before buying. Thanks for the review!

    Gosh, I don't know who to believe now - some other reviewers claim that this lube is not sticky at all, yet you said it gets sticky within 10 to 15 minutes -- I should probably stay away from this product.
    By the way, what exactly is the J.O. lube? Do you mean the silicone lubes manufactured by System JO? Thank you for the review.
