Pjur is Pure Pleasure
Eros original body glide is a high quality silicone lubricant made in Germany. Its sexy presentation, body safe ingredients and inspiring performance rank it high in my books. This lube provides a feeling unique to any other lubricant I have tried before. It's ability to reactivate with a little moisture is remarkable.

Pros
Very concentrated, luxurious, novel sensation, tub and shower friendly
Cons
Expensive (though only a small amount is needed, so it is economical in that way)
Eros original body glide is unlike any lube I've used before. Sure, it was my first silicone-based lubricant, but it's more than that. You know how ads for Macintosh computers pull you in with calming music and simple design? I get a similar feeling when I reach for my bottle of Eros body glide. Something about that small black bottle is so sleek and sophisticated. It feels like a luxury product, and performs like one too.
The bottle is jet black with a crescent moon on it, and some writing. It is cylindrical shaped with smoothed edges. The cap unscrews to expose a tapered nozzle with a circular disc on top. The disc has a small hole in it where the lube comes out. This is a very concentrated lubricant and the bottle is designed so that when you tip it over, the lube drips out one drop at a time. You can squeeze the bottle to make more product come out, but it is meant to be used in minimal quantities.
When applied to dry or almost dry skin, Eros feels more like a moisturizer than a wet lubricant. It is in fact marketed as an intimate moisturizer as well as a lube. This lube makes the skin feel softened. It almost feels like the lube isn't there, but the skin is more conditioned than usual. This may be because of how concentrated this product is. The lube makes a very thin layer over the skin when only a drop or two is used. I found that using more didn't make all that much of a difference.
This feeling changes when moisture is added. It could be wetness from your own body or from an outside source. With water the lube slides more, giving a slick feeling like that of a typical lubricant. After all, lubricants are made for motion. Still though, it retains some of that soft and smooth feel. It is a more subtle lube than any I have used before. It feels rich and thin at the same time.
One place this lube really shines is in how easily it is reactivated with a little bit of moisture. I have taken a break in sessions, then when I felt my own natural lubrication starting to flow, have enjoyed the sensation of rubbing that around and feeling the silicone lube reactivate to add even more slickness. In this way Eros body glide can be a great choice for extended play.
Bath and shower compatibility is also a major benefit to using silicone-based lube. I used a little bit of Eros body glide in the tub with my Pure Wand to great effect. It seems almost magical how the lube can withstand being submerged in water. I found myself checking and re-checking to see if it was still on there, and it stayed a long time! Silicone is really a remarkable material.
Speaking of which, one disadvantage to using silicone lube is its incompatibility with silicone toys. I have not yet done spot tests on some of my favourite silicone toys, but I have used this lube along with my Mystic Wand. No discolouration or change in texture occurred with this usage. This is a high-quality silicone lube, and I understand that good quality lubes are sometimes compatible with silicone toys. Do check to see if your dildo or butt plug reacts with this lube by testing a section on the base if you're interested.
I have not found the need to clean up this product. Acting as a moisturizer, it is a pleasant product to leave on the skin after play. There is absolutely no stickiness. There isn't really even a residual feeling. Skin just feels moisturized and soft. There is no smell or flavour that I can detect. It is simply fabulous. On the bottle it says that it is safe for daily use and will not clog pores. Pjur seems like a trustworthy company as I understand their products are recommended by some doctors as personal lubricant or moisturizer.
Overall I am very impressed with this one.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
While I do still enjoy this lube, I have recently found a downside to it. It stains. I just used some last night with my lover and now my beautiful new satin night gown has three dots of silicone based lube stain on the front. After doing some internet research, it seems like the way to get them removed is dry cleaning. So that's not too fun. I also did find that I needed to reapply it during extended anal sessions. This lube is still good but the honeymoon stage is over.
