Not the Holy Grail I'd hoped
With toys I think I'll be turning to a silicone-based lube rather than a water-based one, but Sliquid seems like a good choice for partnered sex.

Pros
Scentless, well-packaged, very body-safe
Cons
Quick to dry out, odd consistency
The lube was completely scentless and without notable taste, which was a definite plus! It left no feeling of residue or unpleasant slickness whatsoever; I was unable to distinguish any left-over lube from my body's natural lubrication. I still wanted to wash up after, naturally. On the occasion where I did forget, it didn't fool around with my vagina's pH or result in any uncomfortable sensation or scent change.
It was crystal clear and when applied to the head of a toy, didn't immediately run down the side -- the consistency was certainly less runny than water, but not as stay-put as an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. It was smooth rather than thick. (Obviously it was slick as well; apart from the drying issue I'll detail later Sliquid did a great job of actually lubricating.)
In retrospect this point seems obvious, but don't expect this (or many other water-based lubes, I should imagine) to hold up in water! I tried using this lube in the shower with toys; while it got the job done if applied directly to the vulva or to the toy and then straightaway inside, any exposure to running water, especially water from a showerhead, will wash your lube away! I only tried this lube with toys rather than partnered sex. I found it convenient with condoms and toy covers, but if I didn't insert the toy right away, I found my lube drying up. I've heard it mentioned that you can revive water-based lube with a few drops of water from the tap (or spit, in the heat of the moment), but while solo, it just wasn't something I wanted to bother with. I had high hopes for Sliquid because of its body-safe ingredients and all the reviews I'd heard, but be prepared to use a lot of it (or refresh it occasionally) if you're engaging in a longer session.
