Not exactly like strawberry
This product served its intended purpose and felt like it should. It made a mess along the way but that's nothing that a plastic bag or a little duct tape can't solve.

Pros
Feels smooth, tastes good, safe with toys.
Cons
Needs to be reapplied, bottle leaks.
My purchase of ID Juicy lubricant was one of righteous experimentation. I’ve never used flavored lubricants before and thought it would be an interesting change of pace. I very much enjoy the taste of strawberries, as does my boyfriend, so we opted for the strawberry flavored lube. We have used silicone-based lubricants before and found the feeling to be too close to that of vegetable oil or something. This was not the case with a glycerin-based lubricant such as this. It felt really smooth but didn’t last as long as the silicone-based lubricants. I found myself having to reapply the lube about 10-15 minutes in.
Neither of us experienced any health issues from it but I’ve read that glycerin can cause yeast infection, which is our reason for using silicone based lubes in the past. Needless to say, it does not actually taste like strawberries (we both tried it). But it certainly doesn’t taste bad. Kind of like a strawberry flavored tootsie pop. But I wouldn’t recommend eating this lube in any other context than sex. I tried using the lubricant by myself the next day and it worked just as well as it had the previous.
A major setback with this lube is the bottle. The bottle looks nice enough but leaks…a lot. My dresser drawer is now coated in lube. I looked at the cap and made sure it was on tightly and everything was closed. I’m not sure what happened. We tried using it with silicone-based toys that my boyfriend had, and it did not break them down. Glycerin based lubricants are safe to use with silicone toys. All in all this toy served its intended purpose and felt great. I would definitely consider putting it in a plastic bag or something after you open it for the first time though.
