Maximus has surpassed all others as my go to lubricant. This is one amazing product. I had been sticking with silicone lubes before trying this out because they tend to be thicker and have more staying power, which is what I look for. And boy, was I missing out. There are so many benefits to this great water based lubricant. For starters it is safe to use with any kind of toy and you don't have to worry about it bonding or damaging.

Besides toys, this is the best lube I have ever used for anal. It is very thick and has great lasting power. It makes everything silky smooth. It makes getting hand jobs amazing and removes friction, even when vigorous motion is in play. This lube is also perfect for vaginal sex as well, and will keep things slick.

This lube has one of my favorite consistencies and textures. It is definitely on the thicker side of things and will hardly run at all, which makes it perfect for coating a penis or a toy. This allows it to stay in place and means that you wont have to reapply at all in my experience. But at the same time it doesn't get sticky or feel greasy. Another thing I love about this compared to silicone based lubes, is that when it dissipates, it was like it was never there, leaving no mess behind.

It transfers feeling very well and holds up for a long time. I would describe it as smooth, wet, but more refreshing that silicone, it almost breathes.

There is no smell to this product but there is a nasty soap like taste. Its pretty strong and it would make me never recommend this product for oral. It also doesn't say that's its safe to eat, so its best not to try it.

This is the best preforming water based lube I have ever used. For me it puts it on a level beyond silicone lubes, even in categories that I would have traditionally thought them to be superior in. It is at the higher end of the price range for lubes, but I feel like its properties make it worth the price. You will use much less of this long lasting and satisfying lube than you would of something cheaper, while at the same time have a much better experience. I gather from comments that much of this performance might come from the ample use of parabens, which for some people can be a problem. So keep that in mind. Maybe run spot check or try a little bit.

The packaging is functional, if not attractive. I am a fan of the pump it uses, the head extends far enough over the bottle so it wont drip down after you use it, as some of these things do. The font and bottle are Roman inspired and make me think of a gladiator. This would look at home on a classy toy shelf for sure.
