The Spanish Fly mints are "dual sided" mints. I am reviewing the chocolate mints, as there was not an option for me to choose peppermint at the time of the order. The one side is brown and the other is white. The brown side is where the chocolate flavor is harness and the other side where it is believed to harness the aphrodisiac powers. The concept of these mints are that it is founded off the basis that you can receive stamina, endurance, and energy from one side of the mint, and a chocolaty flavor from the other side. Personally, I did not get any of these benefits said to be harnessed within these mints but I cannot say I am surprised. These kinds of things just do not seem to work for me. Spanish fly is thought of to be a great aphrodisiac that is believed to boost libido.



These mints are great to freshen your breath, and, if you like chocolaty mints, it may be great tasting to you! This would also make a great bachelor gag gift- it serves more as a comical novelty item than anything else, personally. Both males and females will be able to use these supposed mood stimulating mints, but be aware that the ingredients in these mints may cause for allergen concerns. They are very travel friendly as well! Using these mints for oral sex too might just do the trick! You partner may feel a tingling sensation when your mouth and mint is being tussled around on their "bits."

The mints are very, very smooth and comes with a thin layer of waxy coating over top. The mints are almost double the size as some of the mints that you find in your traditional drugstore or car-stop. When sucking and chewing, the mint holds up well and does not seem to crumble, like some mints do. You may find that when chewing, a sticky feeling on your teeth may arise.

The mints smell minty and taste minty as well. But the chocolate kind also has that horrid faux-chocolate taste that I can not stand to be present in mints. If it was not for the chocolate, I think I actually could have liked the mints. The smell was sweet and minty (mostly minty- almost like eucalyptus), almost like my favorite toothpaste. But if you consume a lot of the mints at once, it will start to leave a fiery cinnamon-like smell on your breath. The more you suck/chew, the more intense the flavor becomes.

I like how they didn't cheat us on the mints! You will probably have these mints last around the same amount of time your other mints would have lasted. After consuming 3 mints, I waited for 15 minutes, to see what would happen. Nothing ever happened- no jitters, no increase in energy, no increase in stamina, nothing. I was quite disappointed with that.

The mints are contained in a cute little metal tin that has a little clear circle on top where you can see inside the tin.) The front of the red cardboard packaging that houses the tin, states the product name, and includes one of the ingredients,guarana. Guarana is most commonly found in energy beverages. The back of the packaging gives a brief description of what the product is advertised to do, and it states the ingredients that are supposed to give you said energy. The back also gives information on the nutrition facts (29 mints inside). I like the packaging the most because it allows you to see the mints. Just beware that the front clearly states, "get fresh, get horny," so this is definitely not discreet.

Mints that get you horny and energized! That's what it advertises. It didn't happen for me but that is not to say that it would not happen to you.
