This lubricant is marketed for use by males with masturbation sleeves. Please note that I am a female reviewing this item, so I did not use it for its intended purpose. However, this lubricant can also be used by females vaginally, and is compatible with condoms as well for slick playtime fun. Because it is water-based, you can also use this lubricant on silicone toys safely. I also found that it's a great lubricant for using with bullets to remove them from your toys easier after playtime.

People with allergies to glycerin should note that this lubricant contains it. While being allergic to glycerin is actually rare, it can occur. A person with glycerin allergies can suffer from skin conditions such as dermatitis, which can cause redness, itching and burning. More severe reactions include dizziness, nausea, swelling of the tongue or face, diarrhea and shortness of breath. People with glycerin allergies may also suffer from multiple chemical sensitivities, so remember to check ingredients in any lubricants you buy.

This lubricant also contains parabens. Parabens have been linked to breast cancer, though it is not scientifically proven and no direct evidence has been shown. Parabens can, however, cause skin irritation and contact dermatitis and rosacea in individuals with paraben allergies, which is a small percentage of the general population. The following are the ingredients listed in this lubricant:

Glycerin, Purified Water (Aqua), Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Propyl Paraben, Methyl Paraben

This lubricant is not great for anal, and there are better lubricants more suited for anal play. Oral is also out of the question here, and I will get to that later in my review as to why. This lubricant is not intended for shower use either, as it is water-based and will quickly wash away.

The texture of this lubricant is slick, and velvety. It has a very thin consistency, and when placed into the hand, will run quite easily if you tip your hand sideways. It is a clear lubricant, easy to pour, and feels cool and watery between the fingers or any other areas it is applied. This particular lubricant is water-based and is safe for use vaginally. When friction is applied, this lubricant becomes smooth and almost gel-like, leaving the area it is applied to moist and slick.

As it dries, this lubricant leaves the skin silkier, but slightly sticky. You will need to wash this lubricant off with soap and water, which is easily done because it is water-based. It does leave a greasy film on the skin once dried, and may make the user slightly uncomfortable if they prefer to feel cleaner or fresher. Though this lubricant is thin, it remains wet for quite some time (20-25 minutes). With a little bit of water, this lubricant will re-activate and become slick again if you need more time and don't want to reapply more.

Overall it is a fairly nice lubricant for being so thin, and is great for any amount of time as long as you reapply or keep it moist.

The Original Masturbating Lube by Evolved Novelties has no scent when applied, however, if you open the bottle and waft the lubricant towards your nose, you will find it has a slightly bitter smell to it. It smells almost like a kind of liquid hand soap, and while not completely unpleasant, is not expected for a lubricant either. It has a very bitter clean smell. If applied in large amounts to the skin, you will not notice this smell, even if it is inches from your face. You can only pick up the smell of this lubricant if you are sniffing it directly from the bottle itself.

I do not recommend this lubricant for oral. Not only because of the ingredients, but because of the taste as well. It is sweet, but bitter, and isn't pleasant in the slightest if tasted on the tongue. It leaves your mouth watery and has a very bitter aftertaste that takes a while to go away.

I was very pleased with the overall performance of this lubricant. I used it on some of my glass and silicone toys, and it stayed wet for the perfect amount of time during play. While it is not meant for use by women, it still makes a great lubricant for use on toys, or as a lubricant for your clitoral vibes. It keeps things slick and cool during playtime, and cleans up easily. While it wasn't the greatest due to there being many other options of lubricant out there, it is one that works well enough to grab if it's your only choice at the time.

I find that lubricant excelled for another purpose as well. I use this lubricant for inserting and removing the bullets in my vibrating toys easier. Just one or two drops of this lubricant inside of a bullet hole or on the bullet itself, and the bullet will slide in and out of your easier than ever. Because this lubricant is slick and has a thin density, it worked well for this. It's also a big help that this lubricant is easy o clean off, and that it's water based so your silicone toys will thank you.

This is a long lasting lubricant that feels natural up until it starts to dry. That is when it becomes slightly sticky and leaves that greasy film behind. Most of it however, does absorb into the skin nicely, and you won't have to reapply this lubricant often.

I received the 4oz. bottle of Original Masturbating Lube by Evolved Novelties. It features a cartoon monkey on the front, rubbing its tail in a vigorous motion simulating it masturbating. If you're looking for discreetness, this bottle does not have it, at all. On the front of the bottle it says 'Zero Tolerance Come Hard Lubricating Sleeve Enhancer Original Masturbator Lube'. One one side of the bottle, it lists the ingredients, the company logo, a scan code for smartphones, where it's made, and the UPC code.

On the other side of the bottle, it states the directions and the uses. It states: Specially formulated for masturbator sleeves, Lubricates on contact, Water based, Feels silky smooth, Condom safe, Cleans easily, Safe for use with partner, and Safe for all toys. The directions state: Apply Masturbator Lube to sleeve or genital areas. Condom safe. Vaginal safe. Wash with water and soap. For toys, use Zero Tolerance Masturbator Cleaner. Made in USA.

This would not be a great bottle to leave lying around as it is very clear as to what this is used for. The cap is like that of an Elmer's glue bottle, and screws open, making it easy for one hand to open this. I really like the cap of this bottle. Overall the bottle is nice, and won't come open accidentally if dropped. I have already dropped this bottle several times and it hasn't damaged it. When you're done with the lubricant, you could peel the label off and recycle the bottle itself.

Because this bottle is small, it can easily fit in a purse or luggage, but take into account that it is not discreet, so if you don't want it to be found, or don't want people to know what it is, you could always peel the label off.
