Make sure On doesn't turn you Off

On is a natural arousal oil that causes a warming and tingling sensation in some people. You'll want to spot test this or avoid it if you have either skin sensitivity issues or allergy concerns with the ingredients listed. Otherwise, get ready for long-lasting fun.

Use

On is natural, menthol-free arousal oil for female-bodied people. Its ingredients are as follows: Sweet Almond Oil, Cinnamom Cassia, Natural Tocopherols (Vitamin E), silica, Natural Flavours, and Rosemary Oil Extract.

If you have an allergy to any of the above ingredients, DO NOT USE THIS OIL.

Inside the tiny box, there is a paper pamphlet with 6 step directions on how to safely use this oil. I'll copy them down here just in case you can't find yours (since I noticed not a lot of reviews, if any, mentioned it).

DIRECTIONS:

1. Apply 1 or 2 drops of On to your finger. Make sure you apply no more than 1 or 2 drops to start with.

2. Using your finger, gently rub On directly onto your clitoris. Avoid contact with urethra.

3. Within 30-45 seconds, most women begin to feel a warm, tingling, pleasurable sensation. This sensation builds and peaks at about 2 minutes, and can last about 45 minutes.

4. If you use a personal lubricant during intercourse, apply On first. Wait 2 minutes to allow for full effect, then apply your personal lubricant. You must apply On first to fully experience it's unique sensation.

5. On is safe to use as often as you like and you can reapply as desired during intercourse.

6. Make sure you wait at least 2 minutes to allow for full effect before applying more On.

This product also comes with a few precautions:

1. On is not a lubricant and not recommended for use anywhere other than the clitoris.

2. Do not use On if you are pregnant, nursing, or think you may be pregnant.

3. Avoid contact with eyes and urethra. If eye contact occurs, rinse with water.

And I'm going to add a couple more precautions that you can find on the reverse side of the pamphlet in the FAQ section.

4. On should not come in contact with latex condoms.

For that matter, you should not use any oil-based lubricant or arousal product when you use a latex condom or dental dam since oil will rapidly deteriorate latex. i.e., It will put holes in your safety barriers, rendering them unsafe.

5. For a small percentage of women, On may cause temporary discomfort. If this happens simple rinse off with soap. And of course you are welcome to contact us (Sensuva) at 877-470-7578 or at the webpage www.on4her.com

Another thing I should mention is that if you should get this oil in your vagina or urethra it has the potential to cause a yeast infection but I have used it a number of times and have never gotten an infection. As long as you use the product as intended, I don't think you should have any problems. If you do start to experience problems, discontinue use of this product right away.

Lastly, and most importantly, you want to try to spot test this first and be near a place with soapy water so in the event of an unpleasant reaction you can remove the oil QUICKLY and SAFELY. Some people recommend testing it orally first.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

On is a fairly thin, slippery oil that dries moderately quickly and doesn't seem to run, which is good since you want it to stay exactly where you put it. It seems neither sticky nor greasy to me. It pours rather easily out of the bottle onto your finger and supposedly has 'over 50 applications' according to the box, despite being a meager 5mL/.17 fl. oz.

Taste / Aroma

I personally find the smell of On to be pleasant and vaguely similar to the cologne that my partner wears. It's a bit spicy and almost musky smelling. Overall it's not too weak and it's not overpowering, I'd say it was a mild scent.

Now, according to the informational pamphlet that comes with On, 'On is formulated with natural botanical ingredients, and is completely safe to ingest. It even has a pleasant, naturally sweet taste.'

I suppose taste is a variable sense because when I tried to orally pleasure my partner when they were wearing On, boy was it FOUL. Foul enough for me to make a face and have my partner laugh at me. Now, I love the taste of my partner, and when I tried this oil on its own it wasn't my favorite but it was by no means bad, but the combination of the two turned everything into this bitter, mouth-tingling mess. I don't recommend using this oil if you plan on administering oral sex to your partner--especially since I've gone through other reviews on Eden and consensus on the poor taste of this product is pretty much unanimous.

Performance

According to On's website, "This product produces several sensations, starting with an immediate warming effect, then followed by an electrical vibration tingling effect that actually pulses." The webpage also states, "It feels like a warm vibrator with an almost electrical sensation. To describe it to men, the easiest way to understand it would be like putting a weak 9-volt battery on the tip of your tongue."

Now first of all, I'd like to say that I have put a 9-volt battery on the tip of my tongue and the sensation I felt was very unpleasant. I can also say that, thankfully, On did not feel this way to me. Unfortunately, On didn't feel like a 'warm vibrator' to me either.

Personally, I found this oil to have a faintly tingling sensation that made me hyper-aware of my dirty downstairs, which was fun since my partner had me put some on before we went out for a date as a means of extended foreplay/sensation play.

The sensations peaked at 2 minutes, and lasted approximately a half hour for me, but my partner felt an 'intense, warm tingling sensation' which lasted nearly a whopping two hours. So I think it's safe to say that this varies person-by-person and it's worth a try.

The oil absorbs into the skin nicely, and stays where you put it without feeling sticky so I didn't feel the need to wash it off. Remember, if you have a reaction to this product you can wash it off with soapy water.

Packaging

The packaging is cute, modern, and chic. It's small and you can easily carry it with you in a purse or even tuck it in your pocket for fun on the go. It's discreet enough not to attract too much attention, but in the event that someone actually reads the fine print on the bottle or box, they're going to know exactly what it is you're toting around.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Does not leak
    • Travel friendly
Follow-up commentary
This is something I'd buy again. I don't use it too much, but it's fun for sensation play and my partner and I like putting it on before we go out for the evening to keep us in the mood. It doesn't last as long or is as effective on me but I still have a good time. My only complaint is that for it's size it's awfully pricey.
