I originally purchased this lube as a substitute for my Astroglide X (which is still my favorite). I wanted to try out something that was water-based and something that could also be good for anal. Overall, I was not impressed. I could see this being a good lube to use with toys since it's water-based, possibly for masturbation, or if you just don't like the clean-up required for silicone or oil-based lubes. Maybe I just haven't found the right use for it yet, but so far it's just not working for me.

The consistency of this lube is slightly thicker than what I'm used to, which is fine and makes sense for a lube advertised as being good for anal. The pop-top packaging makes it easy to pour, and I didn't really have a problem with it making a mess. It's advertised as having a "silicone feel", which is not a claim that I think it lives up to. It didn't have the same slick/greasy feeling that I like and need from a good lube.

This lube didn't really have any noticeable smell, so it may be good for someone who is sensitive to scents. I can't really say much about the taste since I generally don't like to use unflavored lubes for oral.

I felt very let down by this lube. I was excited to try a water-based lube with a "silicone feel", since I love the feel of silicone lubes, but not so much the clean-up. I noticed when I applied it to my partner that it didn't have quite the same slickness that I'm used to in a lube, and it actually seemed like it was sinking into the skin. Honestly, it didn't do much for me in the way of lubrication. I was constantly asking my partner to re-apply it, which is never something I needed to do with any of my silicone-based lubes. Clean-up was easy, but what good is that if it isn't lubricating? Definitely a disappointment.

The packaging is simple, but effective. It's a simple squeeze bottle with a pop-top that can be opened with one hand if needed. I didn't notice any leakage problems.
