Light My Fire! Maybe? No? Fine Then..

This lube seems to be a hit or miss with responses swinging wildly from one end to the other. Those who hate it found the warming to be too intense and had theirs clump and get sticky. I personally haven't had this problem. I actually found the warming sensation to be a bit lackluster. For me, this lube lasted a long time each session, never got sticky, and could actually be used as a moisturizer.

Use

Warming lubes can be used for all sorts of fun things, from spicing up a solo session or a partner session, to adding a new twist to any kind of massage. Being water-based means that you could use ID Warming on just about anything, just about anywhere. Except the shower, bath, pool, etc. Being water-based means that watery areas can easily wash this away. You could even use this as a moisturizer in a pinch if you needed to, because it doesn't get much greasier than body lotion.

Those with exceptionally sensitive skin might want to avoid this, as well as any other warming products, as they may cause a lot of irritation.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This lube comes out of the bottle kinda runny. Not so much that it's going to spill everywhere no matter what you do, but runny enough that unless you're pouring it into something cup shaped like a hand or the small of a back, you'll probably end up with some spillage.

Once absorbed into the skin, the skin has a slight drag to it. Nothing horrible, but it might be enough to bother some people. There isn't really a greasy feeling, it feels more like you've recently applied body lotion.

Taste / Aroma

I've seen some reviews mention that this smells like menthol, and right out of the bottle, sort of. Mine smells like cinnamon. In fact, I think of the red cinnamon tic-tacs. So, to me, this smells yummy. The scent isn't all that strong. You definitely won't notice it from across the room, but you might notice it from a few feet away. After rubbing some into my arm and waiting a few minutes, I put my nose right against my skin, I can smell the cinnamon; but more than 2" away, I can't smell anything.

This lube isn't advertised as being any kind of edible, but I understand that sometimes things happen; so for those of you who tend to wind up with lube in your mouth somehow, no worries; well, if you like cinnamon any way. I tasted it (for research of course) and to me it tastes just like the red tic-tacs I mentioned earlier.

Performance

For massages I wouldn't recommend this for anything really really long term, but we got a good 15 or 20 minutes out of a grand total of a half dollar size puddle in the hand. For hand jobs I got a good 15 minutes or so in before I felt I needed more and we used about a nickel sized. It lasts the whole time we have sex and I haven't had a need to reapply when using by myself.

After sex you might feel the need to wash this off, I didn't personally; but, if you do, some warm water should take care of all of it.

Packaging

The front of the bottle has IDs standard stamp with the fingerprint behind it that tells you that it's a sensation version and warms on contact.

The back tells you that this product is latex compatible, water-soluble, non-staining, and harmless if ingested. You also get directions for application, just apply a small amount to the area where warmth is desired. They include the standard disclaimer that warns that should you experience any irritation or discomfort you should discontinue use immediately. Also be sure to avoid contact with eyes and ears.

Below all of that is the list of ingredients: Propylene glycol, Glycerin, Purified water, Caffeine, Niacin, Paullinia Cupana (Guarana), Extract taurine, Menthol, Sodium saccharin, methylparaben, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium benzoate, and Flavor N&A.

If you have any issues with glycerins or parabens, please try a different warming liquid.

The packaging isn't exactly discreet. If you have any idea what a bottle of lube looks like, you're gonna figure out real quick what this is.

Special Features

In theory, this is a warming product. Some may not notice any warming, but others may find the sensations to be too intense.

If using this for a massage, blow on the area you've applied the lube to. This combined with the friction from your hands will create a much more intense warming sensation.

Experience

This went much better than the last warming liquid I tried: nothing burned, it isn't greasy, and it smells and tastes good. I managed to get some warming and some cooling sensations. While my fiancé, or a toy, was inside of me and moving, I could feel some warmth, nothing distracting, but nothing really special either. Now while nothing was inside of me, it felt cold. Not like ice, but definitely the opposite of what I expected a warming product to do. Based on the general hit or miss of most warming products, I was happy with what I got. My fiancé didn't experience any discomfort on his penis with this during hand-jobs or during sex before we added a condom.

Other reviews of this swing wildly in either direction, either they hate it or they love it. It's not my favorite ever, but I still really like it. I didn't experience any clumping or stickiness with this at all. It lasted a long time and didn't leave me feeling really gross afterwards. It would have been nice to get more warming out of it, but I'm content with not getting the burning sensation.
Follow-up commentary
Still don't like seems rather strong to me. Since it never really did much for me in terms of being a warming lube, it always stayed in the drawer. It wasn't until I was helping a friend start their own toy collection that I remembered this and passed it on, since I had no real use for it.

It wasn't bad for me, but I'm not in any rush to try it again to see if anything is different.
