Pros
Tasty, good texture, tingles.
Cons
A bit expensive.
I realize I probably have enough of this type of product, but this one I seriously could not pass up. I like mint chocolate chip, and it is also one of my boyfriend’s favorite ice cream flavors. It’s also not really expensive at all, selling for $8.99.
Tasty Twist comes in a 1.5 ounce tube with a flip open cap. The bottle is a pretty good size for travel, and is somewhat discreet looking, as long as you keep it turned around. The front has a naked cartoon woman on it, and says oral-gasm on it.
The ingredients listed are: purified water, mineral oil, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, sodium laurel sulfate, isopropyl mysristate, menthol, aloe vera gel, carbomer, triethanolamine, N&A flavors, saccharin, phenoxyethanol, methlyparaben, butylparaben, ethlyparaben, and propylparaben. Because this has mineral oil in it, it’s not safe to use with a condom. Oil breaks down condoms. The glycerin and parabens also mean that this cannot be used around the vaginal opening, as it may cause a yeast infection.
To me, the mint chocolate chip flavor tastes exactly like mint chocolate chip ice cream, except it is not icy cold. The tingly feeling this stuff gives my mouth reminds me of when I made mint chocolate mudslides. It has no bad aftertaste to it at all.
We have so far only played together with it on his penis and our nipples. Neither of us got any tingly feelings on our nipples, though the feeling of each other’s tongues going all over looking for the Tasty Twist cream was great. He says he had a good amount of tingling feeling on his penis. I wasn’t really feeling into him performing oral sex on me last night, I felt more like pleasing him, so today I rubbed some on my clit to see how the tingling feels, and it feels pretty good. I only used a few drops when I put this on him and myself, as I was not sure if using too much would cause a burning sensation. He, however, decided to pretty much slather my chest in this stuff. Even though he put a ton on my nipples, I felt no tingling.
To me, this looks and feels like lotion. It rubs in smooth, but still keeps a bit of a slick feeling on top of my skin. I haven’t felt the Tasty Twist cream get sticky or tacky at all. After licking this off of skin, the skin feels a little smoother, like lotion was rubbed in, but it doesn’t feel slick at all. It keeps the mint chocolate chip flavor and scent for a while though.
The scent isn’t overpowering, but not faint either. I think it is just right. I wouldn’t want to be walking around smelling like I fell in a bucket of mint chocolate chip ice cream after using a little drop of this.
I know my boyfriend definitely enjoys this. He says he gives it a 10/10. He really enjoys oral sex, but it seems this made him enjoy it even more. I pretty much had to put my hand over his mouth to keep him from screaming and waking up everyone in the house. Thankfully I have finally found something both he and I will enjoy using.
The Tasty Twist cream comes off easily with warm water and soap. I recommend washing it off of the penis before putting on a condom, since this can cause the condom to break down. Once again, I also do not recommend using this near vaginal openings, unless you really want a yeast infection.
I definitely recommend giving this a try. It has a great taste and scent, as well as providing tingling sensations to the penis, clitoris, and mouth. For me, it is pretty fun watching my boyfriend squirm and sigh at the feeling of me licking off the Tasty Twist cream.

Follow-up commentary

My boyfriend absolutely loves when I use this on him. He is kind of too shy to tell me exactly what he wants, when he wants it, but he is more than willing to tell me he wants me to get this cream out. Lately I have been using this on him after using The Tube, a male masturbator, on him. I tease him because after using this for a while, he gets this look on his face that says, "Just stick it in already!"

Thank you for viewing Tasty twist – water-based lubricant review page!
I'd worry about this product because of this ingredient: Sodium Laurel sulfate
As with anything though, make sure you check out any ingredients you're not sure about.
Unfortunately with lubes, you can't see what percentage of the total mix any one ingredient is. SLS would be of concern over a certain level, and yep, it is concerning to me that this compound is used instead of something seen in foods (like guar gum), and yet here it is in an edible product. It is, however, in toothpaste, so I wouldn't worry too much. But then, I also wouldn't eat a bowl of this.
Great Review. I have been eyeing this product for a while, and it sounds like it's fun and tastes good. Win-win, yes?
Seriously though even though it doesn't have the best ingredients, it's loaded on parabens and the flavors and saccarine it's still rather tasty and you don't need to slather it on. I'm with Red on this issue, I wouldn't eat a bowl of it but a little dab for added yumminess seems to be fine.
Great review!
