Is that your penis or a blowtorch?

Hero heat ray is the warming lubricant to end all use of warming lubricants for me. The "warming" sensation was so intense that it was burning for me! I've never felt such discomfort in my vagina before! This lube is more of a villain than a hero!

Use

Hero heat ray is a warming lubricant that can be used for masturbation or intercourse. I really don't recommend using this lube anally. You can use it alone with your toys or with a partner. It gives a warming sensation to both people. I will caution those with sensitive skin, more so vaginas, that this stuff is INTENSE.
The ingredients are:
Water/Aqua/Eau, Butylene Glycol, Carboxymethylcellulose, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Ammonium Acrylolydimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, PEG-45M, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Vanillyl Butyl Ether.

This lube is glycerin and paraben free and safe to use with latex condoms.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Hero heat ray is a bit thicker than some water based lubes and when applied on my fingers and pressed together, it was a little stringy. It may slightly run, depending on how much you use. It feels slick and absorbs well into the skin. It doesn't leave you feeling gross afterward. It comes out of the bottle easily.

Taste / Aroma

I didn't taste this because it isn't a flavored lubricant. It doesn't state that is should have a specific scent, though I detected a sweet scent that I can't quite place; fruity, I suppose. It isn't strong and you can only smell it if it's close to your nose.

Performance

Hero heat is a warming lubricant, and that it is. I would actually call this a BURNING lubricant. We applied this to the outside of my vagina and to his penis, enough for a thin coating on both of us. I instantly started to feel the warming sensation....then he slipped his penis in and it was all down hill from there! As soon as he started to pull back out, my hands went straight to my mouth to muffle the cry of pain (since we don't live alone at the time). It was so intense. I was going to try to tough it out, so I just told him it was "nothing" when he asked why I did that. One more time back in and I couldn't take it. I let him go for a few seconds and had to make him stop. I just laid there in pain. I'm not exagerating when I say I almost cried, because I did. He grabbed the wipes and started wiping it off of me. I grabbed one and wrapped it around my finger and slipped it inside to try to absorb the lube that was in there. I literally felt like the inside of my vagina was on fire. We thought maybe putting some cooling lube in and around me would help, he applied it to himself too and we tried to have sex again, I just shot up in agony. I just wanted to pour an entire glass of ice water into my vagina! It was like Hell fire.
I opened the drawer and grabbed the bottle of V Ultra Sensitive and rubbed it all over my vagina and applied a little to my finger to apply inside. It helped to calm the tissue.
We had to wait about 10 minuets before we could even try to have sex again. And even then, the first couple of thrusts, I could still feel a faint bit of warming. Needless to say, this stuff doesn't wash off right away. In fact the bottle says "should lubrication decrease, add a few drops of water or reapply".

This stuff is NEVER going in, on, or around my vagina EVER again.
I absolutely have no desire what-so-ever to try a warming lubricant EVER again. KY Yours + Mine was a disaster, JO's warming lube did absolutely nothing and Hero heat had me wanting a fireman to come extinguish the flames! It should be renamed Villain Fire Crotch. Maybe it's just me, I don't know?

Packaging

The bottle has a flip-top cap. It is not discreet at all, so should you get this, you won't want to leave it out if you live with others.

Personal comments

My fiance said he could really feel the warming and he did not experience any painful burning like I did. He actually said the warming feeling felt good! Too bad though, this "fire-water" is never coming near my body again!!
Follow-up commentary
I wouldn't have rated this lube one star if I didn't have to. It gets NONE from me. There was no need to prolong a follow-up. I threw this in the garbage last night when I was going through the drawer it was in. Hands down the WORST experience with lube that I have had.
