Water-based lubricant

Irritation and infections!

It has a tacky, sticky consistency and the smell is rancid. It caused my partner to get infected hair follicles on his cock and caused me super intense stinging and irritation. I would not recommend this product.

I had such an awful experience with Inimate Organics Hydra personal lubricant. I was so disappointed because I was really looking forward to switching to an environmentally friendly, organic lubricant and especially excited because I know that this brand does not test on animals. Unfortunately, it was a nightmare from the beginning and as I put some on my hand, a really strong, pungent smell hit me. I thought there may have been something wrong with my bottle because the smell was rancid. My partner and I very stupidly decided to use it anyway and it started stinging my pussy within minutes of application. It was seriously awful. I do have sensitive skin and I'm prone to irritation, but the ingredients in this are considered safe. For me, irritation usually comes from flavored, or scented products, not products that are supposed to be organic. I washed it off immediately and the lubrication morphed into a thick, almost glue-like substance. It dried up on my partner's cock almost instantly and turned into the same glue-like consistency; it was pretty unsettling. The next day my partner noticed that some of the hair follicles on his shaft were red and very sore. So, within a couple days he went to the doctor and was diagnosed with having infected hair follicles which the doctor said is common, especially when using cheaply made lubrication. This had to have been the cause, as we had not used any other lubrication for a while. I can't believe a water-based lubricant caused so much trouble for the both of us.

Like I said, it is possible we received a bad batch, but I definitely would never try, nor recommend this to anyone, ever.

If my review has not turned you off and you are still interested in this particular lube, keep in mind that it is water-based, making it safe to use with all toys.

All ingredients:

Yeesh, this does have some ingredients that look like they'd be irritating--alcohol in a lube? Benzoic acid?

Thanks for the warning about this one!
