Use

Play With Me Lubricant is a water based and water soluble lubricant. It is a non-staining product that is compatible with latex, rubber, silicone, and plastic items. This lubricant can be used in many different situations. During masturbation, intercourse, and can be used with most sex toys. This product is good for both vaginal and anal use. I would not recommend using this product in the bath or shower.

Play With Me Lubricant does contain glycerin. Glycerin is a sugar alcohol which can promote a UTI or yeast infection in some women. So if you are sensitive to glycerin in lubricants I would not recommend this product for you.

The dispensing pump on this product makes this a very easy to dispense lubricant. I found this lube to be neither too thick, nor too thin with a nice smooth, slick consistency. I would describe it to be somewhat of a gel form. It does not stay in place for long and starts to melt when applied to the body. While it did not have a greasy feel to it, I did find it to leave behind a slight stickiness.

Taste / Aroma

Play With Me lubricant is an unflavored lubricant with a slight scent of alcohol. There is no taste to this lubricant so I would not recommend giving or receiving oral after applying this product. Even though in the information pamphlet you receive in the box it does say it can be used for oral, I would not recommend it. I tasted it and it truly was not pleasant.

Performance

This water-based lubricant is easy to clean off of bodies and toys by simply rinsing with water. For me this lubricant seemed to be long lasting when being used with a toy. Though it does evaporate and absorb in the skin with use, so when I used this product with my partner we had to re-apply more than once. I would recommend this for a quick sex session rather than an hour long sex session.

Packaging

The 3.3 fl oz. bottle of Play With Me lubricant comes very well packaged. This product comes in a little box that the bottle of lubricant fits inside just perfectly. I found the design on both the box and the bottle to be quite playful and sexy. Also included in the box is a very small information pamphlet. It gives you a small amount of information about the lubricant and about the company. The dispensing pump is covered with a plastic cap that is secure and stays on well. I think this product is discreet and travel friendly. It doesn't stand out and would fit in perfect with other beauty products.

Personal comments

I found this product best used for toy play and finger masturbation. While it does come with a good amount of lubricant, it does not add any kind of sensation during use. I really thought that even though this is not a horrible lubricant it could have some kind of feature that stands out from other lubricants on the market. Especially for a more expensive lubricant.

My partner and I are unfortunately not the biggest fans of this particular product. We didn't hate it but it's not going to be the first lube we go to use.

Follow-up commentary I still don't like it 13 months after original review

This is not the worst lubricant I have come across, but it's just not for me. It's actually great when it comes to slickness, consistency, and texture, but there were just some things about this lubricant that were deal breakers for me. The fact that this lubricant contains glycerin was a huge issue for me. Overtime, I have learned that glycerin causes an issue for me. This may not be an issue for some. Another thing that I couldn't get past was the smell and taste of this lubricant. The alcohol smell can be a bit overwhelming and the taste is really just unpleasant. Overall, this lubricant is overpriced and there are other lubricants on the market that are cheaper and have a better list of ingredients.

Thanks for the info on this! After seeing the price of these products, I was very curious to find out just what was so special. I kind of thought there would be nothing. Just an overpriced thing. Ugh. That bugs me. Lol. I will be passing! Sounds like something I'd just be neutral about rather than enjoy or find all that useful. For that darn price it could've at least left behind NO residue! Lol. Thanks for the info.
