Dr. Love Aloe-Aqua lubricant is a great water based lubricant that can be used for solo or partner play. This lube is water based, which makes it safe to use with all toys (including silicone.) It is not a very thick lube, so I would suggest using it for either external or vaginal use. Because it contains aloe, it smooths and softens skin during use.

So I could give an honest review of the consistency of this lube, I compared it to Get Maxxx another water based lubricant. Dr. Love Aloe-Aqua lube is a much thicker consistency and provides are nice slippery glide that didn't feel 'slimy.' I wasn't very happy with the fact that it isn't a long lasting lube, I felt like it dried up and left a sticky feeling quickly after application.

There is no taste (that I noticed) and a very light smell to this lubricant. It smells somewhat like an aloe plant, but nothing powerful or overwhelming. It doesn't really remind me of anything other than an aloe plant, which smells clean and refreshing.

Dr. Love doesn't seem as long lasting as other water based lubricants that I've used in the past. I found that it wore off quickly and left a slightly sticky sensation if I didn't apply a large amount. Maybe if I was trying to get in a quickie or if I was really wet to start with this would have been ok. However, it was kind of a lackluster performance...I've had better.

It is extremely easy to wash off, I just rinsed with a little bit of soap and water. It left no residue and my skin even felt a little softer after the first couple of uses.

Dr. Love Aloe-Aqua comes in a pump with a top that twists to either open or close the lubricant. There is a clear, plastic top that slides over the top of the twister to prevent leaks. The pump works great! The packaging included instructions (in several languages) and mentioned that the product was hypo-allergenic.
