Ho, Ho, Ho! System JO!

Regardless of the type of toy you’re using, or even if you just want to enhance those intimate moments with your private parts, a good lube is simply a must. Prior to my own journey into the realm of toys, I had never used lubes (I make plenty of my own) but toys simply demand them for maximum pleasure. After reading the extensive reviews of others on EF, I decided to give System JO a try and am glad I did.

The first thing I considered was whether or not the products I was looking at were water-based as those are the safest to use for all situations. Other lubes, particularly those that are silicone-based, can be harmful to your toys. Given that several of my favorite playthings tend to be rather vocal (especially Ms. Piglet and Vicky Quickie). Frankly, I want a lube to help me get off and I didn't want any complaints. Besides, it would just kill me if I damaged some of my loved ones and they no longer wanted to play.

System JO can’t be any easier to use; simply squeeze a bit out, lube up, and enjoy the sensations. When using toys, I’ll usually grease myself up first and then apply some to whatever it is I’m playing with. Water-based lubes can be used with just about everything – masturbators, cock rings, penis pumps, vibrators, etc. I find that System JO even feels great for skin-to-skin contact. Personally, I find it fun just to smear it around before getting into the hot and heavy stuff – it’s a great tool for foreplay.

When it first comes out of the bottle, System JO seems to be a bit thin; once it’s applied, it has a luscious silky texture and isn't runny as other lubes sometimes are. I have found that I often only need one application on my penis and on my toys, regardless of whether I’m engaged in a quickie (with Vicky, of course) or just spending some extended quality time engaged in manual labor.

During use, it feels slick and maintains an even consistency without getting sticky or greasy; it remains slippery and smooth. On cold days, it feels extra good to place the bottle in hot water for a few minutes to warm it up before applying. After that, just lube up and enjoy.

I’m really not into guzzling lube but decided, just for this review, to give it a taste. It has a rather interesting sweet but somewhat salty taste. I wouldn't recommend using it as salad dressing. Besides, nutritional values aren't provided. Just the same, I suspect that the quantity I consumed contained a minimal caloric value so I doubt it’ll result in any significant weight gain. Of course, after getting off with System JO, I have usually had a good workout so I’m not too worried.

The lack of an aroma is also a plus. It doesn't matter how hot and steamy things get, System JO won’t intrude on any of the associated olfactory experiences that you may have while playing with your toys or someone else.

System JO is a worthwhile product that lasts throughout my own jo sessions – either with my own trusty fist or with one of my faithful masturbators. Once it is applied, there is often no need to use more. The manufacture claims that it “feels silky smooth like silicone” and, based upon my own experience, that’s a truthful statement.

Although the performance of any lube is most important while getting off (not to mention, that’s when it provides the greatest amount of fun), the cleanup process is also an important consideration when deciding which one to purchase. System JO washes off very easily. In fact, it seems to wash off instantly when it comes in contact with water. I like to cleanup in the shower and it doesn't take much to wash it off me and my toys.

This may be my only complaint about the product. While System JO comes in a clear plastic bottle with an easy open top and has a very professional design, the initials “JO” are display prominently, as well as the words “personal lubricant.” I strongly suspect that most people associate “JO” with jacking off (and, of course, most people probably also enjoy masturbating) so I don’t recommend leaving this on the coffee table, especially during the holidays when the extended family is visiting. It would be awkward, to say the least, to get into a discussion with grandma about how great System JO feels on your erect penis while enjoying a good long masturbatory session with yourself. It’s probably best to keep this bottle out of sight of those who you are not comfortable with discussing how your enjoyment of masturbation (or other orgasmic experiences).

Although the non-discreet text is the most prominent detail on the bottle, there are a few other items worth mentioning (although these textual features appear in very small print). What strikes me as the most humorous is the statement that System JO is “recommended worldwide by doctors and pharmacists.” Perhaps the next time I go to my local pharmacy (at the grocery store), I'll tell my pharmacist that I’m really horny and need something to slick up my boner so I can get off. I’ll then ask him if he has any recommendations for a jack off lube. Hmm . . . I wonder what he will recommend?

Overall, I really like System JO, H2O. It’s slippery, non-gooey, smooth, and silky. Come to think of it, writing this review has been inspiring . . . I think it’s time to JO! Ho, Ho, Ho!
