extremely useful review
I was recently in the market for a new lube. After using another brand faithfully I decided it was time to switch it up, considering I had only tried a few others before. The smell of the lube was unremarkable as it was unscented, but the feel of it on my hands was very silicone-like! It was wonderful. I thought, "Wow, this is even better than the one I had used for years!" It did not have any oily or greasy residue once washed off, and seemed like an amazing choice, but after trying it out I did, unfortunately, have a different opinion.

To start, it went on great. But then, after some "fun", it really started to burn. And then it was like I was on fire. I had never felt such a horrible experience. I knew it was the lube because nothing else had changed, and the burning was isolated to the exact spot it touched inside me. After hours of cold compresses and baths it barely subsided, and remained that way until two days later. This was not necessarily an allergy, as I would have experienced it on my hands as well, but it was a sensitivity; a sensitivity that anyone with irritations should AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The ingredients in the lube are as listed as: Propyl Paraben, Methyl Paraben, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Glycerin, and Purified Water. I was actually very disappointed to see that water, usually listed as aqua, was the last ingredient, and that the product contained parabens, which many people react to horrendously (not to mention they can lead to cancers, especially of the female reproductive organs.) It also contains glycerin. A lot of lubes use glycerin, which is a sugar, that is not meant to go down there, especially on sensitive people. The glycerin is my cause for the redness and burning, and has also been known to lead to many yeast infections due to the way it affects the vagina's natural PH balance. I gave the product to my guy friend, who experienced something similar with his penis.

Overall, this product is one of the best lubes I have felt to date in comparison to silicone lube. It is compatible with condoms and relatively non toxic (although non edible.) It has a great lasting slippery feeling and I wish I could use it side effect free. It's not for me, and if you have any sensitivities STAY AWAY.
Experience
If you get this lube, first try a little bit and leave it before actual use.
