ForPlay and Interplay Solution!

This lubricant is a great choice for your average user. It will last a very long time and is very inexpensive! The texture is nicer and smooth and the lubricant mixes very well with natural juices, to maintain a natural feel. It is a great choice.

Use

ForPlay water-based simple lubricant by Trimensa Pharmaceuticals is a great option for intercourse or for solo play. It doesn't work well for anal intercourse, but can handle moderate toy play. This lubricant can be used by anyone looking for an easy to use and pretty well rounded lubricant for their sexual activities. It fits a budget conscious user also. At less than $10, and a generous size, it won't break your piggy bank either.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

There may be some allergy concerns for a select few, so I have listed the ingredients here:

-Glycerin Purified Water
-Propylene Glycol Cellulose
-Gum Methylparaben
-Potassium Sorbate
*It is also L-Arginine free.

I thankfully, have no allergies and really enjoyed this lubricant. The texture of ForPlay's liquid lubricant is actually much like a liquid. It is thinner than gels or creams and much other lubricants that I have used. I was very pleased with the feel of this lubricant, it did not feel sticky or greasy in any way. It is very smooth and slips nicely when rubbed between my fingers. It does run a bit though. When used vaginally it blended very well with my own juices and created a very natural wet feel. It was consistently smooth and reduced any friction. When using this lubricant, I was a lot less likely to be raw after a rougher sex session.

It also worked with toys. It eased with insertion for toys of all types. It can be used with any kind of toy, even silicone since it is water based. This lubricant also worked well with condoms. This lubricant mixed well with existing lubricant on those condoms.

This lubricant worked with toys for anal play pretty well. I would say that if you like larger toys, you will need a different lubricant; one that is specifically for anal play. It is not a good choice for anal sex either. You will need an anal lubricant for that as well.

Taste / Aroma

I really didn't notice a taste other than a kind of lip gloss or Vaseline taste. Which isn't unpleasant, it just isn't yummy. The smell is quite similar. It isn't noticeable and won't turn you off or linger after use.

Performance

The product description claims that this is a water based lube with the properties of oil or silicone lubes, by staying slick almost indefinitely. I would say this is a pretty accurate statement. It does last a very long time. But if the sex is semi-rough AND long, I would say that an extra application would be in order. Another thing that is nice is it will absorb into the skin and doesn't require heavy cleaning. A wet wash cloth works just fine, you can add some soap if you'd like. It didn't cause any irritation if left on. If it gets on the sheets, it just washes out in the washer and dryer. It will leave a slight darker spot until then, but won't ruin the linens.

Packaging

This lubricant offered on Eden comes in a 5.2 oz (148 grams) squeezable, free standing tube. At less than $10 this is a great investment. Eden does not offer the smaller size, but you can find it at Walgreens. I bought my 1.5 oz tube for around $5. It is clearly a better deal to get the one Eden offers though.

The tube is easy to squeeze, however you really don't need to until you've used most of it. The lubricant is thin enough that it comes out of the tube on its own. The tube itself is really discreet, more so than any I have had. The front says the following:

ForPlay-Liquid
Palate Pleasing-Water-based lubricant (in small letters)

It could easily be placed among other toiletry items in a common place and go unnoticed. I did not notice the tube ever leaking, so no concerns there! Just don't do what I did...I placed the tube next to my bed after a solo toy session and stepped on it in the morning. Lubricant ALL OVER my foot and floor.

If you are less clumsy than I am and have an extra $10, this lubricant will be a great choice. I recommend trying it the next time you are out of regular lube. It beats KY any day.

Personal comments

If you prefer a gel consistency, I have attached the other regular lubricant by ForPlay at the bottom of this review. This is also a great option! I have also attached the cream version. Both of these versions are much more expensive however.
Follow-up commentary
When I bought this, I got only a 1.5 oz tube and I had it for nearly 2 years. I used it probably once every week or so. 2 years is in my opinion a pretty long. A lot of lubricants loose their smoothness after a while if they are not used, but For-play didn't. I had this problem with KY jelly. It got really thick and not useful. For-play would have lasted even longer if I had not wasted so much of it. This product size is bigger than mine as well, so I would imagine it would be a great investment.
