Washes off easily, not compatible with silicone toys, bottle is hard to read
After my curiosity sparked obsession with Wet Synergy + Cooling Tingle, I decided I'm break it back to the basics and try out the traditional Wet Synergy.
While the two lubricants are similar, they each stand alone as two different lubricants.
I bought this lubricant with the desire to use it in the tub, for anal play, and for my boyfriend to masturbate with.
Water Usage:
I was disappointed, this lubricant washes off quickly and leaves behind a slick feel. Now this is both a benefit and a hinderance. I like the full feel of Wet Synergy. It provides a thick gel feel. I expected that feeling to last in the shower, however it didn't. My hand stayed slick under water after I applied Wet Synergy, but it didn't keep that thick feeling of having lubricant. More like baby oil rubbed onto your body.
Anal Play:
This is the lubricant for anal play with glass, condoms, or just a regular penis. You can't use this lubricant with silicone, so no silicone plugs, probes, or dildos. Which for me was fine. I tried inserting my spades plug with this lubricant and it glided in beautifully. It stayed lubricant for about thirty minutes and I could easy remove the plug.
Using this for penis in ass sex, wasn't as successful. Sure it lubricated us up, but I found that if we had a rigorous anal sex session, it felt like after about twenty minutes it needed to be reapplied. I only bought a 1 oz container of Wet Synergy, so I felt like it wasn't going to last very long. Re-applying the second time and continuing, it seemed to last longer. At least long enough for me and my partner to finish having sex. The gel helped his penis glide in, taking away some pain that could have been caused by friction. If you are going to have prolonged anal sex, I suggest coating two fingers with Synergy and inserting them into your anus so that the lubricant is inside of you, providing you with extra lubrication.
Male Masturbation:
My boyfriend was NOT a fan of the cooling tingle, so trying regular synergy was an option for him. His comments were as follows, "It felt thick in my hands, it seemed to water down as I masturbated. It began to feel more and more like a water based lubricant the more that I used it. It kept me lubricated through my whole session. There was no need to reapply. I could also wipe it off with a hand towel when I was done, there was no need to wash it off in a shower."
Also, I read about silicone lubricants being great for shaving, and let me tell you. This is the lubricant to shave with. It is a little expensive to shave with 14.99 for a 7 oz bottle, but it provides you with a very close shave and it moisturizes your skin as you shave.
Overall this lubricant is something different from the cooling tingle, and while it doesn't place up as high in my favorites as my cooling tingle does, this lubricant brings a certain something to the table that it's tingly counterpart doesn't.

Experience
I bought this in a smaller bottle than I bought my Cooling tingle in, and I can't see what is on the label at all! The label is hard to read, also 6.99 is a bit much for 1.9 oz of lubricant. You definitely save buying the bigger size.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I love my Synergy! I use this one probably more often than the cooling only because it is super easy to use for anal play. I need to reorder another large bottle, as I am almost out. I freeze this one a lot more often than the cooling variety also!
