Do You Like The Idea of Licking Hot Flavoured Sugar Cubes?
If you can handle ridiculously sweet edible products, then you will enjoy this product. The flavours are yummy, and the product does heat up very well, but it really is like licking a flavoured sugar cube. For those of you who prefer subtle, less sugary products; don't bother with this kit.

Pros
variety, flavours, price, heats up
Cons
the products will be FAR TOO SWEET for some people, very runny
This sample pack was our first time trying the Motion Lotion brand. We love trying sampler packs so that we can try each different flavour, and then determine our favourite to buy a larger size. We do this for most sample packs because of this, as well as the variety it provides.
The packaging of this product is extremely similar to the Lick Me Licker Tasty Gel Kit that I had recently reviewed. Both of these products are from Doc Johnson.
The packaging is cute and colourful. The front of the package is transparent, with just the top of the front having text that reads, “Hot Motion Lotion”. The back of the package has warranty information, ingredient list, brand name, etc. There is no need to keep the packaging for the ingredients list, as each individual bottle has the ingredients listed on the back of them. You can see both the front and back of the package in the photos below.
Each bottle is individually sealed. The bottles have a cap that can be twisted off, or can be left on and popped at the top for application. The bottles are 1oz. each (28g). The product is much more likely to leak then the Lick Me Licker Tasty Gel Kit products because they are very runny. Be sure that the lid cap is sealed tightly and the lid is pressed shut. When storing, I suggest you store them upright (standing) to further decrease the likeliness of the product leaking everywhere.
The bottles have sticker labels on both the front and back of them. The front label has the name of the product, the flavour of the product, and the volume of the product stated. The back sticker label has the ingredients of the product, and the company contact information stated. The bottom of the bottles have the expiry date printed on them, as well as what I believe to be the product lot number. All of the bottles have different expiry dates, so be sure to take note of them when you receive the kit.
All of the bottles contain these ingredients: Glycerin, Flavor (Aroma), Mangifera Indica (Mango) Fruit Extract, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract, Ananas Sativus (Pineapple) Fruit Extract, Butylene Glycol, Alcohol Denatured, Citric Acid, and Water (Aqua). May contain Caramel.
This lotion is extremely sticky and runny. When pouring the product from the bottles, be sure to do this cautiously. Both my boyfriend and I tested the flavours on our hand, and I accidentally poured way too much out because I didn’t expect it to run out of the bottle so quickly. After testing the flavours, I had to wash my hand twice because of the extreme stickiness of the product. Washing off the lotion with water and soap is suggested.
Do NOT use this product internally.
The flavours that the kit includes are: Hot Mango Madness, Hot Tropical, Hot Strawberry, Hot Cherry, and Hot Passion Fruit. The flavours had a very yummy taste to them, but they were WAY too sweet for my taste. I can handle sweet tasting things, but this was like licking flavoured sugar cubes in my opinion. After testing out a small amount of each bottle, my stomach became very upset. However, my boyfriend really enjoyed the flavours (he clearly has a stronger sweet tooth than me).
The product packaging claims: “warms to the touch” and “heats when blown on”. The product does NOT warm to the touch. When you first apply the lotion, it is cold. When rubbed in, it still does not warm up. However, it DOES warm up to the touch of your tongue. The lotion is very hot on the tongue, but not an uncomfortable heat. As for it heating when blown on, this is absolutely true. It gets quite hot, and depending on where you use the product, it may actually be an uncomfortable heat on the more sensitive areas of the body (read the experience below).
As for the price, each tube is 1oz (28g) and the pack of five is $11.99. What this means is you will be paying $2.40/1oz. tube. The larger 4oz. bottes of Motion Lotion are $8.99 each. Comparing the two (4oz bottle vs. sample pack), brings me to conclude that:
With the sample pack, you are paying $3.00 more for an extra 1oz. To break this down even further:
With the 4oz bottle, you are paying $2.25/1oz.
With the sample pack, you are paying $2.40/1oz.
So you will be paying more per ounce if you purchase the sample pack (15cents more to be precise). I suggest this sample pack for those who have yet to try the flavours, and want to figure out which is their favourite. Then just purchase the regular sized bottles to save money.

Experience
When we first received the kit, I thought I would use the lotion as a lubrication when giving my partner a hand-job. I thought that it would be warm to the touch like the package claims, and would increase the pleasure it would provide him.
I was wrong.
The product is far too sticky to use as any sort of lubricant for external massages. You will not be able to glide your hands over your partner's body with this product. Instead, your hands will just sort of "stick" to the body part you are massaging. It really is not sexy. I suggest applying the product to where you plan on licking, and that's it.
Before changing the product we used during the hand-job, I blew on his penis to see if he considered it warm. I took a deep breath and blew very slowly. At first he went "Ohhh" but it quickly turned into an "AHHHH". He said that it felt like his penis was put on a scorching oven. If you decide to use this product and blow on the lotion for heat, I suggest doing it from a distance so it does not become painful for your partner, or to use the product on less-sensitive areas of their body.
As I mentioned above, the product really upset my stomach when I taste-tested them all. I do not take globs of it to try, just a very small dab of each. If you do not have a very strong sweet tooth, this product is not for you. Luckily my boyfriend enjoyed it, so he will be using these from now on, not me.
My boyfriend liked all of the flavours, except for the passion fruit. He said it tastes like "wood and spices".
My boyfriend said he would give this product a 4 out of 5 stars, but since this is my review and my experience was different, I am giving it a 3 out of 5. The product does warm up, and the flavours are quite good, but the product is just too damn sweet for me (and it's too sticky for my liking).

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
After my partner and I had tried these, we decided that he would be the one using them since he enjoyed the flavours and I found them too sweet. He said that he really enjoyed them, and while he claims he still does, he never reaches for them when he uses a flavoured product. He claims he needs to be "in the mood" for something that tastes warm/hot to him. I guess I understand that, but most of the bottles will probably expire before they are used up. Will I buy these again? Probably not. They are too sweet for me, and my partner just doesn't use them enough to make it worth it.
