Water-based lubricant
by Kama Sutra

Delivers great slip service

I would certainly recommend this as a great silicon lube, it does exactly what it claims. I found cleaning to be expectantly more difficult than a water based lube, but nothing soap and warm water can’t handle. I think it would be nice if it were a little thicker, but it does stay where you put it so it’s not a big deal.

I went to the local toy store and asked for a recommendation on a "good silicon based lube" that was intended primarily for water play. The employee recommended that I give the KamaSutra pleasure potion a try. He suggested that it was a lot like Pjur Eros, only at a much better price point. I was attracted by the minimal list of ingredients, only three.

Pleasure potion comes in a small 3.4 oz bottle. It is green and black like nearly all the KamaSutra products. This is a silicon based lube and therefore should not be used with silicone based toys. This lube can be used with latex condoms, certainly a big plus for many. This lube is paraban-free, glycerin free, petrochemical free, and L-Arginine free, great for those who are sensitive or just very aware of what goes in their bodies.

KamaSutra Pleasure potion feels very silky and almost oily. These are qualities that I find very pleasurable in a lube. There is no odor, and it is clear but can and will stain fabrics like nearly all silicon lubes. I did not taste it, nor would I recommend this product for oral. I started out rubbing this around my girlfriends labia and then inserting a lubed up finger. I then gave her jelly vibrator a good coating of pleasure potion. This made for very slippery penetration, and had the vibrator sliding around her clit like magic, we both played with toys and finger for a long while before any penetration. Upon penetration, I was amazed at how well it held up to fast rhythmic pounding. Stroke after stroke, it did not get sticky. While this lube has no “heating” properties, it does retain body heat very well almost like an oil; I found this to be one of my favorite qualities. For the real test, we had some frisky shower sex that was brought to an end when we ran out of hot water (damn that hot water heater, if only it could last for hours). I am happy to report that even after a vigorous hand job and some very wet penetration, this lube didn’t go anywhere until we got out the soap and gave it a good scrubbing.

I would certainly recommend this as a great silicon lube. I found cleaning to be expectantly more difficult than a water based lube, but nothing soap and warm water can’t handle. I think it would be nice if it were a little thicker, but it does stay where you put it so it’s not a big deal.

Cute word play in your title. Did your girlfriend find that it was difficult to wash off? I've found silicone lubes to be a bit persistent in *that* area. Thanks Smile
