Pros
smooth consistency, odorless, water based
Cons
needs to be reapplied often
My boyfriend and I were looking for a lubricant that wasn't KY or Astroglide. Sliquid H2O was recommended to us to try. We brought it home to try.
Sliquid H2O is made from a purified water based formula. It was created to mimic your body's natural lubrication. Sliquid H2O uses plant cellulose as a thickening agent, instead of glycerin or other sugar derivatives like most other personal lubricants on the market today. It also happens to be 100% vegan. Other pros of the Sliquid H2O include being glycerin free, paraben free, hypoallergenic and non-toxic.
Sliquid H2O is great for use in conjunction with toys and condoms. It is latex, rubber, and plastic friendly. I use it with all my toys as well as finger play. It's smooth consistency blends right in with my body's natural lubrication production.
Sliquid H2O is water soluble and easy to clean up. If I get a spot on the sheets, I don't worry about it. It does not stain. And there is no lingering odor either.
This product had no negative effects on my skin thanks to it's water based formula. As a woman who shaves, I often worry about the itching and burning that can come with using a synthetic material based lubricant. With Sliquid, I am able to relax and enjoy without worrying about how sensitive my skin will be after.
There is one flaw with Sliquid H2O however. The lubricant is not long lasting and often needs to be reapplied. I find this to be a hassle especially when playing with the clitoris where I'm dependent on the Sliquid H2O for lubrication. During intercourse, my natural lubrication often hides this products downfall.
Overall, this is a great product. It is the best lube I have tried and I will continue to use it but I will be on the lookout for one that last a bit longer.
