This is one of the few brands of lube that hasn't given me a yeast infection or caused other problems. This isn't relevant information if you aren't sensitive to many ingredients, but it may be useful to those of you who are. This time around I got the cinnamon/vanilla and I have previously tried the peppermint. Given the somewhat negative reviews the taste of the unflavored has gotten I have yet to brave it. The taste isn't unpalatable, but even in the flavored varieties there is still an undercurrent of "aloe" taste. The cinnamon/vanilla tasted more of vanilla than cinnamon.

This lube is a medium thick gel, much like aloe vera which is one of the key ingredients. It's generally easy to squeeze out of the tube. When it is left at cooler temperatures the gel becomes thicker and more difficult to squeeze from the tube. I occasionally swap with other brands (primarily sliquid organic and babelube)and I store what isn't in use in the refrigerator. This keeps the product fresh/gunk free longer, but it does make it difficult to squeeze the tube until it returns to room temperature.

Functionally, it does dry up more quickly than some more conventional brands of lube and it is slightly tacky when it starts to dry. It has aloe in it and aloe gets tacky as it dries if it's not emulsified with a lot of other ingredients. The addition of water (which may sometimes be inconvenient) or your body's own fluids reactivates it. I haven't had much problem with the tacky dry down, but if your body needs extra help in the lubrication department this might be a concern. The occasional inconvenience of rehydrating/reactivating the lube is worth not having to deal with itching and pain caused by a product with more irritating ingredients.

I used it with glass and silicone toys and it provided an appropriate amount of glide. If you let it dry on glass toys before cleaning I found that it did leave a bit of film, but that washes away with a bit of water. Overall, I enjoyed the product for vaginal application, but I don't find it thick or slick enough for insertion of anal toys.

I still love this lube and have purchased additional tubes. I've currently been testing a few other brands, but I will definitely keep this as solid go-to product.
