ID Glide helps to whet your whistle & heightens your masturbatory experiences without making a mess. Cleanup is also extra easy and leaves no traces of stickiness or greasiness. Overall, this is a good product and it certainly met my expectations. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I wished that the consistency was a bit thicker. Enjoy!

Pros
Helps enhances the sensations of masturbation without being greasy or sticky.
I really haven’t used lubes before (as I make a plentiful supply of my own natural kind) but after getting my first toy, a Tenga Flip Hole, I thought I should try them. I was looking for a product that would allow the most pleasure during masturbation and to get the most use out of the Flip Hole. After much consideration (after all, I really didn’t know what I should use), I decided on ID Glide, especially since it is water based and is supposed to clean up easily. As I bought it to use it with a silicone masturbator, I also wanted to make sure that it wouldn’t damage my new toy which, apparently, silicon based lubes might do. Another important aspect (at least for me) is that I was also looking for something that wouldn’t leave me feeling greasy for hours after I was done playing. Specifically, I wanted something that would enhance my experience with self-pleasure but not be so intrusive that would make everything a greasy mess. I especially didn't want something that would distract from the task at hand (pun intended).
I was surprised that this lube was a bit more runny than I expected. That did not, however, cause a problem. I first applied some to the inside of the Flip Hole and rather enjoyed smearing it around as I prepared it for my manhood. Smearing the lube inside the masturbator helped to increase my anticipation as to how it would feel when it was time to enjoy the toy. As this product is dispensed with a pump, it is easy to control where it goes (on your hand, on your toy, etc.). Although it's a bit runny, it's stays in place long enough to apply to all the right places.
I did not notice any aroma and, personally, don't think I would like any. I want to concentrate more on how masturbation feels and not how (or if) lube smells. While it's also hot to enjoy your own natural scents, especially when aroused and focused on enjoying playing with yourself, it would dampen the experience for me deal with an unwanted smell; in fact, I appreciate the fact that it is not scented. Regarding any taste (and I'm not into tasting lube) I didn't test for that.
I noticed that there is a slight tendency for this lube to dry a bit while rubbing it on my dick, balls, and stomach but that is solved by simply adding a little more in order to keep the enjoyment going. It was very easy to apply to the masturbator and I noticed no problems with any drying as my member slid in and out of the toy. I'm still experimenting with the amount that feels best, but the Flip Hole is so incredible that differing the amount of lube used each time only seems to bring new surprises with each use.
As I enjoy smearing some on other parts of my body as I masturbate, I may end up trying a silicon-based lube, especially on my stomach, just for fun. What has been most surprising is how easy it is to clean up the toy and my cock in the shower once I'm done. A little soap (not much needed) immediately cleans up both the ID Glide and my man juices easily and without any effort. I'm sure that this would not be the case with silicone based lubes. I am very surprised at how effortlessly it seems to wash off of my skin and is not noticeable at all. There is no trace of it when I dry off.
One thing I wish is that it felt a bit warmer right out of the bottle so I may try to find a way to warm it up a bit first.
Sitting on a counter, the pump-bottle of ID Glide looks no different that a bottle of soap or shampoo. The packaging is discreet and it is not readily apparent that this is lube instead of any other type of product that would be found in most bathrooms. The one problem I did have was getting the pump to work properly the first time. The manufacturer could have made this a bit easier as I was afraid the pump would break before I got it to work. Fortunately, that didn't happen. I was initially afraid that getting the pump to work the first time might also cause it to leak but I've had no problem with that - the bottle is well sealed.
Also, I bought one of the larger sizes (approximately 17.5 ounces). I suspect that I'll get several months of regular use of it. I don't travel too often and doubt I would bring it with me even if I did as it is rather large. I suppose I could put some in a much smaller container if I wanted to bring it with me.
ID Glide serves it's intended purpose well - it makes things silky smooth and helps to enhance your masturbatory experience. As a water-based (glycerin is one of the main ingredients) lube, it should work well with all materials. Be sure to refer to this product's description for a list of all ingredients.
Using a lube is a new experience for me - while I make tons of my own natural lube (precum), and love playing with that too, ID Glide does last longer and can be almost as fun. I did find that it is important to use with toys as it seems to be more slick and heightens sensitivity to the experience. If you already make lots of pre and are only using your hand, then your natural lube is still better but can't imagine not using it with toys.
So far, I've had good experiences with ID Glide. It's fun to try different amounts ranging from almost dry to very slick. It's also very enjoyable to rub it on different body parts during masturbation. I haven't found a specific sensation that is best but that may be because experimenting is just plain fun and so is the variety.
While my intended purpose was to use it with the masturbator, I also loved smearing it on my shaft and enjoyed feeling it get hard in my fist. Smearing it from the base, up my shaft, and then on my head was very pleasurable and didn't feel at all greasy - it felt very slick and silky. I did notice that I needed to apply more as I played with myself although it never dried up. Finally, I wanted to feel it on my stomach as I prepared for the big moment - the time when I would penetrate the masturbator with my dickhead and get lost in masturbatory bliss. That too also felt very good although I did wish that the lube was a bit thicker and greasier at this point - especially as I rubbed in on my torso.
As I spent some time just rubbing the lube on various body parts, I found that I had to add a bit more to the opening of the Flip Hole and my flared cockhead before I was able to insert my penis into the tunnel of pleasure. It helped to smear some extra lube on the opening to make penetration easier. That wasn't a problem except that I did get a bit too much on my hand and also on the outside of the masturbator - I would have preferred have been able to have a firmer grip on it.

Follow-up commentaryI still like it2 months after original review
I can't believe I've already been using this for two months! Fortunately, I have a large bottle and still have quite a bit left. As a rule, I generally prefer to buy "economy sizes." Considering that I've now had the opportunity to use this with a variety of toys, I'm still pleased with ID Glide. I continue to wish that it wasn't quite so runny; I'd be even happier if it was a bit thicker. Overall, I remain very pleased with how easy it washes off of both my toys and me.

I''d like to give this a try ...but I need to use up some of my existing lubes first. I need to get busy!
