This product is good for use in enema play and other things where a short term lube is needed and consistency isn't a huge deal. It is also good for use if you are in a jam and need something other than that bottle of dish soap or hand lotion. I need to caution you though, do not to use this product for medical device or urethral play. When using it for this, it will cause intense irritation of the urethra and will not maintain lubrication internally after a short time. For anal play this lube will be a somewhat messy option as it will need re-application multiple times.

This lubricant’s texture starts out a bit greasy but quickly becomes the same viscosity as rubber cement. I would definitely say it works for short term play or to use as an enema lube. Also, this lube can be used for quick insertion of an anal toy. Unfortunately, if it is used for longer play it will become very tacky very fast. KY’s lube is a fairly thick and jelly like but it is very easy to wash off after use. Also, the thicker consistency does not come out super fast which makes it very easy to control the amount you get out of the bottle.

K-Y Jelly has an average smell. Unfortunately, unless you like the taste of petroleum jelly, it has a rather vile taste to it. I would not recommend this to anyone attempting to use this product for oral sex. I believe there is a K-Y option out there designed specifically for that particular application. Please do not confuse it with this one. I assure you this product will leave a rather unsavory taste in your mouth for days to come (yes I tried a bit just to show you how hardcore I am about doing a proper and honest review).

When masturbating with this product, it became sticky within a few minutes and needed reapplication. After applying it multiple times, (I am a slow cummer OK!), it became necessary to reapply sooner and sooner. One of the tricks I have discovered with this particular product is that rather than reapply it, use saliva and it will last longer and maintain consistency longer.

When used in anal play, it held up fairly well for short term use but became unusable in longer sessions. I tried it with an enema and it was fine; however, for plug play it was unusable as it became far too tacky in consistency even with multiple applications.

When I recieved my lube it was wrapped tightly in clear plastic bag. Also the tube has a tin foil safety plug under the cap.

Unfortantly, I did not have a very good experience with this product. However, it is K-Y so I am sure some people will buy it on name alone.
