Astroglide, Nothing More To Be Said
Astroglide works well for anal play, is safe to use with condoms, and silicone toys since it is a water based lube. If you are prone to chemical hypersensitivity, or yeast infections, try the glycerin and paraben-free style instead.

Pros
Easy to use flip top, works well for anal, doesn't get sticky if used in moderation.
Cons
A little runny, does get sticky if too much is used, expensive.
Astroglide is a very popular name in the lubricant kingdom. Mostly due how easily you can find it in your local drugstores, Walmart's, and even a few rest areas I've visited. Tidings of good and bad seem to ring out about Astroglide. So which is it? Is it so horrible you should run screaming? Or, is it simply awesome and something you should keep in your collection? My answer is a little bit of both, and based only on my use of it. The quote, "different strokes for different folks." seems to apply in this case.
Astroglide is water-based, and safe to use with condoms, and/or with your premium silicone toys. It is smooth in consistency, scentless, and the bottle is easy to use with its flip top cap. However care should be taken when pouring into your hands, as it has a tendency to flow quickly due to it being a little runny.
For my intended purposes (i.e. anal) it got the job done. It applied cool, and warmed up to my body temperature quickly while making penetration easy. I didn't experience that wince of "ow" that usually comes with anal. Lots of lubrication in moderation is the key with any anal activity. The only time I found that the lube became gummy or sticky, was when used in excessive amounts. Moderation is the key. Astroglide was developed to mimic natural body fluids, as well as moisturize vaginal dryness, which is why you do have to reapply when needed.
Astroglide is definitely not for everyone, and the original version should be avoided for women who are prone to yeast infections since it contains glycerin. Glycerin and parabens, are known to cause burning, itching, irritation, and yeast infections in women.
I say the original version of Astroglide because there are other styles in the Astroglide line. One particular style is the new, also glycerin and paraben-free, formula which would be a better alternative for woman who are prone to yeast infections; or anyone who suffers from chemical hypersensitivities.

Experience
Personally I would like to recommend the Anal Shooters Astroglide style, if you only plan on using this lubricant anally. I would use it in addition to this style to make lubrication easier. My Husband swears by it, and it's the only type of lubrication he seems to be willing to use. We're working on that.
