I bought this product after several friends recommended it to me thinking it would be good for anal sex. I suspect none of my friends have ever actually used the product, or if they really have used Astroglide it probably wasn't for anal.

First of all, Astroglide is just too runny! My husband tipped the bottle to apply a little to my booty and it just poured out of the bottle down my crack and made a big oily looking puddle on the carpet (which by the way won't even shampoo out).

Second, what little Astroglide remained around back felt oily and was slippery enough to let my husband get in, but all to quickly it got really sticky/gummy, and irritated both of us and leaving me with a sore behind and a rash most likely from one of the ingredients. Further, after this unfortunate experience with Astroglide I put the bottle back into my toybox. At some point the bottle tipped over and even with the lid tightly closed it leaked the entire contents over everything I had in there pretty much ruining some of my naughtier lingerie.

There are much better products out there for the money, such as California Exotics "Anal Lube" or even the old drugstore standby "KY Jelly." Astroglide to my mind isn't worth the money, and simply doesn't warrant the reputation it appears to have in the adult lubricant marketplace.

The texture, it pours easily as it is way too runny and does not stay in place like a gel. Astroglide feels kind of oily on your skin yet becomes sticky/tacky almost immediately. I do not recommend this product for anal sex.

I have no idea how this product tastes, as I'm not in the habit of tasting lubes to begin with. There is a mild aroma that is not overpowering, but I can't really define it as anything in particular.

As I said earlier this product does not perform well. It runs all over the place when you try to apply it, it gets sticky really quickly, and doesn't lubricate very well. It does not wash off easily and leaves an unpleasant residue. Even worse it stains things like carpets and doesn't easily come out even after shampooing.

I didn't like the product at all, the price is way too high, and the performance was way too low. If you are wise you will buy just about anything else!
