Overall, this product is very inviting. It works excellently, lubricates well and is condom safe. There is no unnatural feel to the lube; it mimics natural lubrication closely and has never caused any kind of unpleasant reaction in either myself or my partner during use. The lubrication lasts! I rarely have to reapply, and when I do have to, it’s only because I used too little. Just apply once, and you’re set. Astroglide has absolutely no unpleasant smell or taste although it will leave a faint fruity smell after use. Since the lube is water-based, it works well with a large variety of toys. I’ve used it with glass, plastic, and silicone toys. It’s also wonderful for partner use - both vaginally and anally.

One downside of this lube is that it leaves a sticky residue after use; I would suggest cleaning the lube from your genitals if only for the sake of comfort. Being water-based, any residue comes right off. I’ve used it several times as an excuse for an after romp shower with my lover. The 5 ounce bottle has a flip top cap. It is not my favorite but it works. The unfortunate part about this type of packaging is that it has a tendency to be a little messy. In the arousal rush to get the lubrication applied, I’ve found that lube either gets on the bottle (making it difficult to handle the next time you want to use it) or on surfaces you or the bottle touches after. My partner and I have taken to keeping a hand towel close to the bed just to clean up such messes quickly.

I love this product; so far, it’s the best lube I’ve tried. I would recommend this to anybody looking to add a little ease to their love life. It makes using toys more pleasant and gives sex that little boost to take it from “Mmh” to “Oh my god!”
