Astroglide is not the WORST lubricant I have ever used, but it's definitely up there on my list. The only good thing about this lubricant is its price, and the fact that you can buy it ANYWHERE. I personally do not have any skin reactions to this product, though I know people who have experienced problems with some of its ingredients. It felt amazing when it was first applied - I will give you that much. It has a velvety and soft texture, and does not have a very strong smell. You will be surprised at how nice the lube feels right after you apply it to the clitoris. However, you will be disappointed when you start stimulating your clit, because it will become sticky and tacky in about five seconds, and you will need a lot more lube to get the job done.

I love the fact that there are reviews complaining about the lube's taste being terrible. That was pretty amusing, since Astroglide has aspartame in it. Why in the world would I want aspartame in a lube which is NOT advertised as a flavored product? If I want a flavored lubricant, I'll get one - but this is not the one. Don't think for a second that Astroglide tastes bad ONLY because of the aspartame - it just does not taste good, period. If your mouth ends up around any cock that has Astroglide on it, you are definitely going to get sticky on your mouth and face!

When you use the lube for solo play, you will need a ridiculous amount of it to get the job done. And since the lube will make you sticky and tacky, you will also need a shower afterwards. If you use it for vaginal sex, you might have to go through the entire 2.5 oz bottle, and find yourself finishing up with a sticky and frustrating climax. My partner and I usually use lube for vaginal sex so we can get things sexy and slippery, yet this product will ruin it all! If you use it at night without a thorough cleaning immediately after the fun, you will be very sticky in the morning, unless you shower and clean every centimeter of the orifice Astroglide has touched right away (I can guarantee that). As far as anal sex goes, FORGET ABOUT IT! It's terrible to pair the lube with toys during anal play - you don't want to feel sticky! Astroglide does not last long and needs constant reapplication, which is the last thing I want to worry about in the heat of the moment. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra money on a good quality lubricant. Astroglide is NOT a quality lube!

I have tried to use Astroglide multiple times thinking maybe I would change my mind, but it's just not happening. I can not get over the sticky, yucky feel left afterward and my husband complains every time it's used. This lube finally got the can and is NEVER coming back!
