A smooth glide to distant shores!
This is a good lube to warm up with before the juices get following. Its body safe ingredients make it a good choice for vaginal sex for those prone to UTIs, and other infections. However, for anal use I would recommend a thicker lube with more staying power. Being water based it is friendly for all toy material types.

Use
Sliquid Sea is a lovely lube to get the party started. I found it's best used vaginally, due to its tendency to dry out a bit quicker than I might like, and its thinner consistency. That said, the fact that it is free of DEA, Glycerine, parabens, and other chemical properties, outweighs my need to maybe use a bit more. It is a water based lube and is compatible with all toy materials. Sliquid Sea is a good lubricant when you need things just a little wetter. For anal use I just don't find that it is thick enough, or long enough for any sort of intensive activity. It has no noticeable taste or smell, so I think it would be great for oral.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity
The consistency of the product I found to be pretty close to my natural lubrication. Clear, slick, on the thin side. I found it not thick enough to hold well for anal use. I felt that Sliquid Sea worked best vaginally for me.
While the Sliquid did seem to dry a bit quick, it did not leave any unpleasant residue. No flaking or stringiness either, just nice smooth skin left behind. With the lack of parabens and glycerine, I did not feel the need for an intense cleaning session, if there was some product still lingering after play. I haven't had any problems with infections or rashes.

Taste / Aroma
Sliquid Sea did not have any noticeable smell to me when using, but when I hold my nose up to the bottle and squeeze, I get a faint smell that I guess is a bit sterile.
As for taste it really tastes like nothing to me, tap water would be close, only without the heavy chlorine. I don't see any problems with using this lube and going for some oral.

Performance
For a lube I found Sliquid Sea comparable to other water based lubes such a Lelo. Vaginally one or two applications depending on activity were all that I needed. Water or saliva will reactivate the lube if you don't want to take another reach for the bottle. With anal, I found that the lack of any natural lubrication to keep things going, and the fact that it is on the thin side, required far more repeat applications. I did not notice any foaming. This lube did not cause any burning when used during activities that required some stretching.
Clean up is easy with just a wipe down when there is excess that has not soaked in. This is quite convenient in that I feel like I can relax, and not have to go running for immediate clean up, or risking coming down with a UTI.

Packaging
The product comes in a simple clear bottle with a click top like a shampoo bottle. I found that this makes for easy dispensing, but can lead to bubbling occasionally. The solid blue label reads "Sliquid Sea natural intimate lubricant". There is a stylized flower in white on the front with the logo, and it also points out that it is paraben and glycerine free. The back side of the product states it is Vegan friendly, and contains a list of ingredients.
Ingredients listed:
- Purified water
- plant cellulose (from cotton)
- Carrageenan
- Nori and Wakame (seaweed extract)
- Cyamposis (guar conditioner)
- potassium sorbate
- citric acid.
The packaging appears pretty unassuming to me, and I feel comfortable that it doesn't attract undue attention. If traveling by plane I would take the precaution of keeping it in plastic bag.

Special Features
This lubricant contains seaweed extracts giving rise to it's name Sliquid Sea. Seaweed extracts are touted for their health properties. I'm not sure if they have added to the performance of the product but, they have not hurt.
It is stated to be hypoallergenic, nonstaining, and latex, rubber and plastic friendly. I would also like to add in of course silicone, as well being that this is water based lube.

Personal comments
I bought this product for the fact that it seemed to have worked well for others with sensitivity to lubes. So far I am happy to report no problems for me.
Experience
I found Sliquid Sea a nice lube for when I need a little more on one of my toys, or I really want some slicker action. Anally I found it just didn't work well, because it would run and I would find myself in a bit a puddle. I really wish it was a bit thicker because it's hard to find a lube that is natural, and good for anal use.
Follow-up commentary
I still like it
3 months after original review
Sliquid Sea is still rocking the motion of my ocean. It is my everyday go-to lubricant of choice. It is easy to clean. It is also clear and non-staining, on top of its mildness. It is a solid product for me.
