Eden's very own personal lubricant is designed for vaginal play and masturbation. It's a water-based lubricant that is compatible with silicone and latex products, and is therefore safe to use on condoms. This lubricant can also be used for vaginal dryness. It cannot be used in the shower, or anywhere in the water, as the lubricant will quickly wash away, but it can be used on the bed without worry of staining the sheets. Male users can use this for masturbation as well.

Directions For Use: Edenfantasys Personal Lubricant is a water-based lubricant for penile or vaginal application intended to lubricate and moisturize, to enhance the ease and comfort of intimate sexual activity and supplement the body's natural lubrication. This product is compatible with natural rubber latex, polyurethane, and polyisoprene condoms.

Directions: Apply a small amount of Edenfantasys Personal Lubricant to genital areas and/or outside surface of condom.

This lubricant has a slight gel-like consistency, but is still runny. When you shake the bottle, the density of the lubricant causes the air bubbles to rise slower than those in water, but faster than silicone lubricants. When applied to skin or silicone toys it has a smoothness, and is very velvety when rubbed between two fingers. When the lubricant is first applied, it leaves the skin very slick and moisturized, but as it dries it begins to form a sticky feeling. The stickiness does subside once the lubricant has dried fully, and leaves the skin once again feeling velvety to the touch.

The lubricant is easy to pour from the bottle, and once on the skin, it does run down fairly quickly in liberal amounts, so be sure to rub the lubricant in some if you don't want to make a huge mess. Once applied, the lubricant is cool to the touch, but warms quickly to the temperature of the body.

When opening this bottle of lubricant, I didn't notice any scent from it until placed directly under the nose. It has a very faint chemical smell, but the presence of it is still there. It is not a natural scent like some lubricants have, but it's not completely unpleasant either, and should not effect the use. You will not be able to smell this when applied to the body. To me, it smells like a combination of sweet, and artificial grape, but this is not a flavored lubricant, so it could just be the glycerin or cellulose gum.

The taste of this lubricant is bitter, so users won't want to get any of this lubricant in their mouth. It has a slightly sweet undertone, but the taste of this lubricant is very chemical, and bitter. It is not recommended for ingesting anyway, and shouldn't be used as an oral or flavor enhancer.

The ingredients in this lubricant are as follows:
Glycerin, Water (Aqua), Cellulose Gum, Methylparaben, Propylparaben

Glycerin is a sweet-tasting moisturizer.
Cellulose Gum is generally used as a thickening, emulsifying, and stabilizing agent due to its high viscosity, or thickness.
Methylparaben is an anti-fungal agent often used in a variety of cosmetics and personal-care products.
Propylparaben is used to control the growth of bacteria, yeasts and molds. (Just like methylparaben.)

The performance of this product is about what I expected it to be. I have other products that provide similar amounts of moisture for the amount of time this one does. It does not go above and beyond, but it does provide moisture for a fairly decent amount of time. If you have vaginal dryness, this product may have to be re-applied often depending on each person. Combined with the fact that this lubricant gets sticky near its drying point, it's not a great lubricant to have on your genitals whilst going about your day.

8 min, 48 seconds (dime sized amount on human skin/masturbating)
12 min 37 seconds (dime sized amount while vaginally using a silicone toy)

The more friction there was, the faster this lubricant dried up. Silicone also has a tendency to dry lubricants out quickly, so when using toys remember to have it near you in case you need to reapply. This product is also water soluble, so it will quickly wash off when you're finished playing, but can also be reactivated with a tiny bit of water or saliva if it dries out too quickly for your liking. If lubricant gets on the sheets, you don't have to worry about it staining, and the lubricant will wash off in the washing machine.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of pros and cons to this lubricant. On one hand, the lubricant creates a lovely slick surface on the skin, it can be used on silicone toys and condoms, and it cleans up easily. On the other hand, this lubricant contains glycerin and parabens, which are not very good for women's health, it gets sticky for a short amount of time before becoming velvety on the skin, and it tastes horrible if ingested.

Does it do the job? Yes, it does the job well for the amount of time it lasts, but the ingredients are questionable, and the taste isn't great if you accidentally get some into your mouth.

This item was shipped discreetly in a brown cardboard box with the address listed as "Web Merchants Inc.". It was packed with an air pillow so it didn't bump around too much, and had a packing slip with it. The bottle itself is simple. It is a clear bottle with the Eden Fantasys logo on it and it says Personal Lubricant on the front. It also states it is water-based and has a little logo of a water droplet on it.

The bottle is easily opened with one hand, and when it comes shipped, there is a safety seal that you must peel off under the cap before use. This prevents the bottle from leaking during shipment, but so far, there haven't been any leaks from the bottle while laying on its side. The lid is a pop top, and it has a pour spout like hand sanitizer in the travel sizes. The bottle itself is 4oz., and is a sufficient amount to last. There are directions for use (as mentioned earlier in this review) and there is also a warning message.
