A New Standard
Ride H20 is refreshingly uncomplicated. It is thick, long-lasting, not sticky, kind to the senses, and gently on the body's tissues. If you want a lube that is safe and does what it's there for, without all the bells and whistles, then this product is where your search should begin.

Pros
Thick, odorless/ tasteless, long lasting.
Cons
Not ideal for masturbation.
Tired of lubes that boast long and confusing lists of herbal infusions, fruity aromas, and unlikely aphrodisiacs? Who out there has tried enough thin, watery lubes that claim to be long lasting but gum up like glue after only 2 minutes of use? I want a lubricant, not a conditioner!
When did lube get so complicated?
Enter Ride H20. Sliquid's answer to the already crowded market that is water-based lubricants. At first, I must admit, my hopes were not high. I expected a fairly routine romp down a most familiar lane. But I was wrong.
To begin, Ride doesn't seem to have any taste, color, or smell. Some may find this boring. But I found it glorious. No more banana-scented yellow stains on the bedsheets. No more feeling like I forgot a melting orange creamsicle between my legs. Blandness can sometimes be a very refreshing thing.
Then there is the texture and consistency. Ride is slippery, like a lube should be, and it stays that way. And talk about thick. The only other water-based lube I've tried that is similar in thickness is Probe Thick and Rich (also an excellent lube). But where Probe is sticky and is hard to apply, Ride is clean and stays exactly where you put it.
As for what's in it, Ride is quite safe as it is paraben free, glycerin free, as well as hypo-allergenic. I found that where other water-based lubes have in the past left my skin feeling dry, irritated, and even slightly sore, Ride was far superior in comfort and sensitivity.
Ride can be used in the vast majority of bedroom scenarios. In my experience, it is more than capable when used during lovemaking. In fact, it's the first lube I've ever specifically asked for when my wife and I have sex. While other lubes are simply there, Ride stands out. Anal play is another ideal use for this lube. It stays put when lubing up toys (silicone included), during intercourse, initial warm up, and lasts well into full on thrusting. The only situation where Ride does not earn top marks is for masturbation. Oil and silicone lubes are simply in a league of their own in that respect.

Follow-up commentary
5 months after original review
My first bottle of this stuff is almost gone, that's how much we use this stuff. It's the work horse of all our lubes.
